I ader bela one male cat about 6-7 month old (dah ader tanda2 awal menggatal). memandangkan rumah I tingkat 4... so my cat is dok kat dalam rmh saja selama ni. I x benarkan dia keluar takut sesat n kena langgar la pulak kan. kalau x pun hilang dicuri org lain cause before this I've lost one cat according to my jiran child.... somebody is took the cat away (don't no true or not!).

I nak neutered my cat, I ask the vet at my workplaces and they said my cat need to bedah... cause it's male I sian la kat kucing I. tak de option lain ke??? ubat ke? suntik ke?

please help me!!!!

Hi there, think what is best for your cat. If you think "bedah” is KESIAN, think of when you as a normal male or female want that but you can’t have it. I am sorry for my BAD example but, I believe we have to be fair to animals too.

If you don’t plan to let him find his mate, PLEASE neuter him.

How to? Send him to the vet and pick him up a day after that. He will be weak for like ONE day only and then he will be fine.

If you don’t, he will try to find his way out by hook or by crook. He will also MEOW in the most irritating way, spray all around the corner and the worst if he jumped from your 4th floor.

If you love him, think what is best for him.

To neuture a male cat is not as complicated as female... If your vet is an experience one.. sap sap soi lah... peice of cake... I already seen the way they do it to my male cat....

Some irresponsible people do injection to neuture the cat but after that the cat become sick and die..

Yup i agree with afi, the procedure to neuter a male cat isnt as bad as a female. hari ni hantar, esok boleh balik. Dont worry about it. Should be ok. u tinggal mana? which vet do u go to?

FYI, to neuter your male cat, the vet tak payah bedah pun, he just cut the skin where it holds the testical, very thin skin, and cut the testical. If female, then need to operate la sebab ovari dia kat dlm.

dulu i hantar bob pegi jabatan haiwan dekat kampung i... sekejap je doctor tu buat... very little bleeding. And also very cheap cos kerajaan punya. RM30 je. kalau female mahal sikit RM60 kot. But that was 5 years back... dunno now how much la...

Anyway, please neuter your cat if you are not into serious breeding. I didnt have any regret when I neutered bob... he was happy and gemuk gedempol tidooooo je the whole day. Hi didnt spray around the house at all...

At what age is a good age to spay/neuter ?

If the male already start spraying and meowing loudly.. say he's 1 year old now.. does it change totally when he is spayed/nuetered ? does he stops spraying totally and no more 'nafsu' to go out and find mate?

I've read a book said female also spraying when time comes.. any comments?


p/s: my vet said for male it will be easy.. bring the cat in the morning.. evening can take back... and he didnt cut the balls.. so your male cat didnt lost 'kejantanan' dia lah..

last time i spayed bob at the age of 3 months. So... he doesnt sprayed at all.. and he's like gay... hahah... mmg takde nafsu ngan female langsung..., hahahha... and he's more manja....and more penakut.... badan je besar...

dunno la about other cats.. some said 6 months.... and some says that kalau the cat dah start spraying... kalau spay pun dia still spray....

the best to neuter or spay bila umar kucing reach to 6-7 months..or before mereka start heat..or spray. thats the best time..sebab once dia dah spray or mating the kebarangkalian untuk spray masih ada..tapi selalunya jarang berlaku..
