RM120 for a female cat is cheap lah!! Where har? The vet around my area charge RM180 for female cat and RM150 for male cat. The price is Subang area is pretty standard..... My Nisha's time is due pretty soon....

what is the different spaying/neutering at government animal vet, spca, and private vets?

is it true they said the private vets charge higher for careful and special treatment?

I went to Heshmael's Clinic last week (spay Choco)
And the bill is RM 180.00

In America, they teach ppl not to just say U cannot afford and deprive yourself but to have the burning desire to go out and make that $$$ so U can afford it! I like this winning attitude - what they didn't teach me at Harvard ....

One of the things which costs more at the private clinic is the newer anesthetic they use which costs more and bare essential & non-profit places like SPCA and Klinik Kembiri cannot afford to use without impacting the volume of their spay/neuter cases. However, this is only one factor we consider in selecting the place to send our pets for spaying and neutering. I firmly believe that the credentials of the vet himself and his clinic, is far more important as every operation, however minor involves considerable risks.

Is there any good clinic in Johor? Most of the clinic mentioned are in K.L. It's so far away.

Yesterday I sent my Leng Chai to Global Vet in Kulai for castration and indeed they did a very clean job. Today he is as normal as usual already. Global Vet has branches in Taman Universiti, Skudai; Nusa Bestari and recently opened in Taman Mount Austin, JB. Their clinic is very clean, unlike some others vet in JB city centre.
