does the weather/temperature has anything to do with their ability to grow so huge? i mean, the bone structure and everything... not being fat, but huge. aside from food. or is it purely genes + food? ah... i wish i can get my hands on that huge 17++kg MCO!

39lb of lean muscle..........wow! I wonder if the cat does weight training hahaha!
What breed of cat was it, I wonder? As for neutering......I totally agree to this to keep cats healthy if not breeding them though I must share my experience. I took Boboy to the vet for neutering last month. Had the surgery at 2 pm, I was called to collect him at 3pm, he was under the influence of the general anaesthesia at that point. Being so used to human reaction to anaesthesia, I was not worried. Brought him home. 4pm came, he was still asleep, cold peripheries, pale.....5pm, was awake but only for 6 minutes, covered him with sheep wool blanket since he was still cold. 5.40pm, need to work, patients are waiting, Bob still not out of anaesthesia, called hospital to ask someone to cover me. 6pm.....Bob 10% conscious, getting worried, called vet who told me he gave Bob IV and IM anaesthesia and that the IM takes awhile to be eliminated by the body. Okay, could understand that. 8pm, Bob was 25% awake, walked a wee bit to the cat litter. Pee pee but unable to cover it, he tried very hard which made him eshausted, then back to sleep..........10pm 100% CONSCIOUS! Colour came back, temperature normalized. Phew! At last! I was worried sick! My previous cats has never reacted like this before. Even my guinae pig recovered well after her radical mastectomy due to breast cancer. Now I know Boboy Jedi can only have the IV general anaesthesia without including IM.
