Exotic Long Hair are mainly for breeding purposes. They are ped, just like scottish short hair, and non standard curl,
ELH are good for breeding for zots cos it will help to improve the density of the coat. ELH that's bred to persian will be call ELH if the kittens are long hair (u will hardly or impossible to get short hair out of this combination) >.<

Like what coony says, CFA is registry body where they register all the cats that's born (peds)- so that u can track back the parentage os the cat.

ELH is showable, but it will fall under AOV. (ryte?)

anyway basically u gotten urself a breeder girl. in other registry body this cat is showable.
anyway, anything pls reffer to www.cfa.org <--- can read up under exotic section.

sorry dear, i make some mistake here, i just check up the web in cfa where ELH is not in the miscellenous or the provisional breed, so i guess ELH is not able to be shown at all.. (jsut thought that i recalled some old time breeder shown one ELH boy in last year Micatz kan??? ) hmm.... my fault..

AOV = Any other variety.

You could probably show an ELH but it wont get you anywhere in the show rings - just like AOV Ragdolls. However, AOV Ragdolls colours WILL be accepted for CH status soon enough but I don't see that happening with ELH any time soon since CFA have yet to decide where to place the ELH - either as another Persian Division or as a Exotic Division!

as adilah AOV = Any other variety.

ELH is able to shown as AOV in kitten and in adult. but they will not get any not even winner's ribbons.

if there's 10 AOV ELH , then they will be able to get 1st, 2nd and 3rd nia...
