Saya baru beli cat pedegree nie. Tapi kat description yang betina dia tulis :
RED TABBY LH EXOTIC FEMALE. kalau macam tu declare dia exotic kan... so leh masuk pertandingan tak / show???? pastu saya ada kawin kan dia dengan persian pedigree dari canada.... nanti anak 2 dia saya plan nak jaga betul2 dan join show... betul ke description ank2 tu nanti TABBY LH EXOTIC???? tak leh masuk pertandingan ker??? kalau tak leh saya nak pulangkan balik.....sebab niat memang nak join show.... tolong lah jawab...

Rasanya...exotic LH tak leh masuk competition kan?.....

I pun dulu terkena macam ni juga,ingatkan persian rupa-rupanya Exo LH.Ramai org yg ambil kesempatan terutamanya bila kita tak tahu....

*Breeder mana pulak buat hal ni........dia tak bagi tahu ke ?

Utk pengetahuan,Exo LH tidak boleh masuk show,hanya boleh guna utk breeding dengan Exo SH dan hasilkan Eo SH.Hanya Exo SH yg diiktiraf oleh CFA utk show.

Exo LH juga tak boleh kacukkan dengan Persian sebab anak nya nanti semua akan jadi Exo LH tak akan jadi persian,kalau ikut undang-undanglah.So automatic tak boleh masuk show sama ada utk Exo atau persian.

I punya nasihat,kalau nak simpan juga Exo LH tu,kacukkanlah dengan Exotic SH,anak mereka nanti mesti ada yg SH dan ada yg LH,yg SH simpan tapi yg LH jual jelah sebagai non-pedigree.

Kalau tak,kasi balik tuan asal dia lah,tukar dengan purebreed pedigree persian.

Baru-baru ni ada ura-ura CFA utk iktiraf Exo LH,I pun dah tak tahu dia punya progress.-mana orang CFA ni,tolong jawab...

Under CFA, Exotic LH are usually for breeding or pet purposes only. I would NOT recommend you breed the cat to a Persian - the coat will get longer. If you want to breed the cat, please breed to an Exotic Shorthair proper.

CFA has not yet approved ELH as either a separate breed nor as a Division under Persian or Exotics.

But when I bough this cat, I still received the cfa certificate only on their description inform it is RED TABBY LH EXOTIC FEMALE. If cfa not approved why cfa still print out the certificate???

CFA still approve the registration of EXOTIC LH but that mean for breeding purpose only and will not recognize in any CFA show

CFA is a registration body, it will register the cat & issue the cert as long as their parent r pedigree whether it's going to be a pet, breed or show quality.
It is the duty of the breeder to tell u what their quality is & it is better to do some breed research or check out with a few more breeders before jumping in to buy a cat as there r many unethical & irresponsible breeder in this world.
