Hi All..

I was in Kuching, Sarawak, recently and came across two cats that desperately needed help.. Unfortunately, I had to fly off and was unable to do much and the helplessness left me feeling horrible..

One is a mommy cat with one very infected eye (almost exploding out of the eye socket) and the other seemed to be involved in an accident as one of her paw is bent and thus she is walking using her leg joint..

I made it a point to remember the locations of these two cats and was hoping that one of the locals who might be in this lurking in this forum would be able to help..

I know there are many more that needs help but these two needs urgent help..

Kitty, need your help. I am from Kuching and I just rescued 5 kittens. Their eyes not even open yet. How am I going to take care of them? I working and going to KK next week. My nephew found the kittens in a wet box at a dumpster. He took them home as it about to rain. He has no idea how to feed them. Lucky I found a old feeding bottle and a pkt of IGG Milk. Can I send them to you? Help me to save their life. I would be happy to take them back after I am back from KK. Please advise....

I am sorry i also going away from 28 Jan to 11 Feb. actually you can ask your nephew try his best. first give them more toles to keep them warm, and you can use the animal milk to feed them by using feeding bottle or using the ??(dont know how to call it, the one for injection) every 2-3 hours. also you need help them do the pill and pull business by using a wet tissue paper after each feeding.

anyway, you also can call Dr lee for help @082-456115, she is a vet with much exprience in cats.

oh my god! the person that dumps the kittens are so cruel. may be god created the person without any heart

i don't have any experience feeding such young kittens, but what i know that you can bottle feed them, or use syringe, or best is to find a willing lactating mother cat. good luck! i really hope those 5 will survive this ordeal

My nephew will be also be away to Sri Aman. He doesnt have the skill to handle cat, the heart yes but not the "scent" that attact cat. My cat preferred me than him at home.

How much will Dr Lee charge if I left them with her for 3 night? I can cut short my trip but that the best I can do. 3 night.

Be very, very careful when using the syringe or bottle that U do not get the food/liquid into their lungs! Make sure U get detailed instructions and warnings on how to do everything properly.

i believe Dr lee can help you to take care the kittens for a short time as 3 days with only a litter fee (maybe RM 10-20?) she is a very kindly lady who also help the abandoned cats and rehome them. you better call her personally and discuss with her your situation.

I saw so many cases like this - abandone kittens even the eyes not open yet! everytime i tried my best to save them but unfortunately only 1/10 will survive.

I asked myself many times how human heart can be so cruel, dumping them this way and let them suffer to die? why not allow them be with the mum until they can eat by self? they also a life like you and me!!
