Last 2 week during the holidays, I drove back to Kuching from Miri back to my hometown. Was a very great experience as I am looking forward to get a new kitten from SPCA Kch. But, my lack of budget seems to be a problem for SPCA here needs a person to be a member before they can adopt. The membership was RM100 and that only already gave me goosebumps as I am not expecting much of it. So, I left on the next day back to Miri, with a broken heart...


With my uncle, we drove a long way, that is a 12 hr journey back to Miri.The day was very dry as for everything should be fine..until we encounter some incident at Sri Aman to Sarikei road.

A lil kitten was standing on the middle of the other lane as every traffic tries to avoid hitting it. I drove pass slowly praying nothing to happen to the poor thing. As I got my chance to cut through the other traffic, I park at the other side and ran with all my heart towards the poor kitten. He was shaking, shocked of what just went pass him and was meowing loudly and can barely move, just dragging himself to the roadside. By then, I knew something was wrong and I ran to the middle side of the lane to block any incoming traffic. I pray that no speeding car will be coming from behind as my eyes still focus to the lil kitten.

I picked him up and immediately he turned around as if pointing to the roadside. In amazement I saw another kitten lying down in a pool of blood. I hurried and picked her up and took them both covered in my jacket.

Without thinking maybe the other kitten was alive or dead, I cleaned her face and look at what was wrong. Shockingly she was drowning in her own breath as blood fills her nose-strill. Then I knew she had a broken nose. She keeps on sneezing blood and breathing through her mouth as I know she was in so much pain during then.



I fed them bread and gave them refreshments during the journey. And I even point the air cond breeze directly so that they will feel more comfortable. As they were meowing thinking that they are lost, I feel bad for their mother as she might be missing them or the other way round. But, as time goes by, they we already feeling comfortable in my lap...or should I say too comfortable

I arrived home and told the story to my gf and Kelisa, as Kelisa was busy with her friendster now, I think it might not be troublesome to have a companion fo her.



Time goes by, now all of them get together so well and Kelisa is vacinated for the first time. Soon it will be their turn. It makes me smile watching how happy they are with each other.



So as for the black and white shall be named Milo and another as Milky. I would love to welcome them to my big family and they are pleased to join the big kitten.com forum family. And that, is my story of Milo and Milky

Yeah, but I cant blaim kch SPCA for that. Must be costing them a fortune to bare a lot of stray cats and dogs at the shelter. There is benifit to the membership, but as I am now living in Miri, I might as well wait till Miri SPCA opens..somewhat few years from now. . Thanks fanna

wow!! the kittens were lucky you found them right on time. which one of them had broken nose??

It was Milky...the white with stripe colored tail. Her nose was all blue and during then when we tend to touch it, she sneezes badly. Blood were sprayed on my shirt.

Tq to poyo and koocing. Well, even I know we all have that compasionate feeling towards weak creatures that needs attention. So we might as well pat each other on the shoulder because we are "that" minority, who does really..really care. Like said by SPCA, for every recipe of happiness is to:
