my cats will happily jump into my car when i open the car door, esp. when i've just got home and we do go for rides sometimes. one of them regularly follows the dogs on our walks. she's often at the park and ard the neighbourhood with us - not harnessed but following closely. if she gets left behind, she knows to wait for us to come back the same way and get her.

do u cover your car seats? I dont and I have fur almost everywhere. I'm immune to it but...sometimes I have friends in my car and they will sneeze like hell coz i dont have time to vacum everyday...

no, i don't and my brother is quite freaked out about this but it's fine cos he will then vacuum it very very cleanly for me if he ever needs to borrow my car ;0

i try to cover the seats when destination is known to be a bit dirty/muddy in case the dogs trek everything into my car.
every time i send my car for wash, the workers will tell me 'banyak rambut/bulu' and sometimes i cheekily tell them i have a 'mat salleh' friend who sheds mah! there is beige, white, black and brown hairs everywhere!

i warn my passengers when they come in but so far nobody has sneezed or complained. but woe betide the person who enters wearing black - habis covered with dog/cat hair!

Eli,

You mean your cat just sat down quietly in the restaurant? Wow! If only my cat would behave that way...she's just too curious wants to have a sniff at everything

oh-no, sorry, i don't mean my cat sitting quietly in the restaurant! pebbles is our youngest dog, she turned one in march and we brought her to ikano as a treat

have not tried bringing any of the cats to public places. but coco will follow us on our walks.
we got Jasper from a kopi tiam and have been thinking of bringing him back for a visit. so far only showed his pic to the shop ppl and they sure would like to see him in the flesh.

Only a very well trained cat is able to sit quietly in a public place, as all cats are very curious: as the saying goes.. "Curiosity killed the cat"

On the other hand, i have seen a shar pei puppy sit quietly on the chair next to their owners while the owners are eating at an outdoor restaurant.. That was the most amazing sight i have seen.. !!

Oh my gosh! My cat loves sitting on the dashboard too. Usually I put him there when we go to the vet but then he liked it somehow.
