Wink Komuter & Public Buses are cat's friendly place!~

well..everyone knew and can see the sign of 'no pet allowed' in each commuter train and public buses but guess what?..You can! as long as ur lovely cats stays in their carrier, not pooping and don't make so much noise!!

Its true for me because I've been traveling alot from Serdang to Shah Alam and back and forth using commuter and Rapid KL buses since these few months and I always have my kitty Elmo with me during traveling. From Serdang to Shah Alam is like 15 station to pass including train interchange at KL central and it took me about 1 and half hours to get to my destiny. Its kinda far but I never had any problem bringing Elmo during traveling.

I was lucky that Elmo is not much a noisy kitty. She always tend to be quiet all the time even at the unfamiliar places .The trick to make sure Elmo do not poop during traveling is after she eat, she poop first b4 we start leaving.

Well... for komuter I'm not sure how this fact can truly be "fact"..I mean its based on my experience only because none of the commuter's officer had ever told me that u can actually bring cats as long as they are in carrier. There's once that one of the officer was asking me what's in the carrier?is it cat? I said yes and show him.then he just smile and let me walk by.and that's it.

But for Rapid KL busses..it is fact! u can bring cat or dog as long as they are in carrier! One of the bus driver told me..he said there's once a chinese guy carrying a big K9 in a box..and the driver said to me..as long as they are in a safe place and wont cause any trouble to other publics, pets are always welcome to use the service as we're all do. hehe!

But just for ur pet safety..better use ur own transport!..using public transport with ur pet is only in case of emergency!..i mean..only if u really2 have no choice of taking the cats with u and u have to use the public transport.

I usually travel back and forth from shah alam and serdang with Elmo by someone's lift. either my brother..or my parents..or my bf..but lately..they're all been busy with work and classes..and the time I ask them to give me a lift is just not the right time. So I had to deal with myself then.. and those information is what I got for u guys..~ tata~!

no elmo! not in the bag...~ in the c-a-r-r-i-e-r...~

elmo in the carrier :P

Once, after vet visit, i went to 7-eleven. I had to bring kitty in carrier along coz very hot outside. I was a bit worried when he started meowing but the staff are friendly and said its ok and just smiled. Other shoppers got curious and one even started snapping photos! I think a chubby and furry MC gets a lot of attention.

Default Taxi?

How about taxis? Most of the taxi drivers in my area aren’t friendly at all especially when they saw you with ur pet carrier. Some won't stop either. Some says harsh things to you as if the cat was a disgusting creature ever!! (my own experience....) But there are some nice pakcik2 taxi who are kind enough to me and my cat.

-Hmmm wondering is there any rules that pet (esp. CATS) are not allowed in any public transports - ie. taxi?

last sat i bring O.J from cyberjy to shah alam.pegi vet.mata dia sebelah eyeball dia pecah.sbb it was weekend,my housemates all not around, so terpaksa la bw O.J dlm box i tebok2 lubang then naik bas,komuter,putra,taxi.3hours journey tu.pegi aja, blom balik agi. Yelar,i read u said that taxi xnak amik if bring pets, tapi, bila sampai aja batu tiga, taxi tu tak kesah i bw O.J skali.I think if u put them in carrier its ok kot. Coz the sign at public transport usually show dog with harness. mayb we cannot bring our pets on harness, then jalan2,begitu kot..correct me if im wrong

mungkin nasib kwn2 sekelian baik..tapi saya tak..sebabnya pernah sekali kucing saya sakit sebelah pagi, saya bergegas balik dari tempat kerja..ambil half day..time emergency mcm ni lah saya tak de transport..husben saya guna kereta..so saya terpaksa ke klinik dgn taxi..letak kucing saya dlm carier & dia tak bising pun.on the way ke klinik taxi driver tu ok, peramah..berenti taxi betul2 kat depan pintu klinik..

tapi masa nak balik saya ambil taxi lain..bila saya tahan taxi tu, dia berenti..driver taxi tu tgk saya bw kucing & suruh saya letak kucing saya dlm bonet kat belakang giler betul..dah laa kucing tgh sakit..saya ckp x boleh.saya cakap kucing dlm carier bukan dlm cage..so dia kata ok lah.bila saya naik jer, driver taxi tu merungut..'dah la bw kucing, nanti abis kotor kusyen taxi.dah la baru basuh'..mcm tu laa dia cakap.then saya cakap baik2 dgn dia 'encik, kucing saya ni sakit, saya letak dia dlm carier, tak buat bising pun..bulu kucing pun tak terbang sana sini lagi pun saya tak letak carier ni atas kusyen encik, saya riba kan carier ni'..then dia balas balik..'tak pa kalau mcm tu..saya ni bukan apa, saya ni puasa..nanti bulu kucing tu terbang sana sini'..

saya fikir dlm hati apa kena mengena bulu kucing dgn puasa..masa nak turun dr taxi, saya bayar lebih tambang taxi tu..ye la takut kotor kan taxi dia..then saya mintak maaf sebab saya bw kucing..manala tau kot2 kotor kan kusyen taxi dia.saya mmg kecik hati..dia dgn muka tak bersalah, ambil duit tu terus blah..

untuk pengetahuan semua, bukannya jauh pun..dari pandan indah ke pandan jaya..tambang taxi sekadar rm3.50 ke rm 4 jer..tu la pengalaman saya bawa kucing saya naik public transport..untk kwn2 semua, renung2 kan lah..apa perasaan anda sekelian di tempat saya pd masa tu..
