Just wanted to share my observations with all of you.
While waiting for Hayward Animal Clinic (Ampang Point area) to open, Dru and I had breakfast at the mamak shop across the road and brought in our carrier with Dancer and Totty in it into the shop.They were even placed on the chair opposite us.Only curious looks from mamak shop workers..but when they knew they were cats, no one objected. V surprising indeed.
Later we went to have McFlurry at McD''s (Ampang Point)...still with Dancer & Totty in with the carrier..still no objections..
Last week, we had some donuts at Dunkin Donuts (Ampang Point) this time with Ben in the carrier (back from Hayward), also no objections la..Siap ada makcik yg sibuk check Ben out lagik..hahah (ni kat Shopping Complex area la)
A very pleasent surprise indeed !

Uhm.. I have been in many places with my cats in the carrier. I think, most people dont mind if the carrier is clean + the cats in the carrier are clean + beautiful too.

I used to walk my cats in KLCC park, even though they said NO PETS on the jogging tracks but I never being stopped by anybody including in restaurants outside KLCC including Dome, Star Buck and many more.

Anyone has any experience bringing cats in carrier BAGS to these type of places?

BTW is there anyone know any TAMAN or park in KL that is PET allows... Coz hard for me to bring my CAT for and dog for a walk in the park coz everywhere i got they seem to be people who tell he here no dog allow....

I use bag carrier and been to McD many times near Petaling Street. They never objected before. Also I always bring my cats to the mamak restraunt at Damansara Damai..nobody bising. Once I brought my cat to Tesco Damansara mutiara.. Tesco service counter said no prob and I just left 2 of my kittens there while I shopped my grocery. On another day I left my hamsters with the Tesco Service counter also no problem.

The only problem is.. when I brought my cat to Mydin at sinar kota.. they bising bising so much...and never allow me to go in. After some discussion that my cat is in the bag and cannot possible run out.. then the security guard look after for me (but he said.. "if my boss know he will scold me")

Doink, I and my friend used to take the dogs to templer park not the front area.....it's actually further in near the camping area...there will be one gate for you pass also....But I am not sure whether they will allow you or not but you can try ask them....

i think convenience stores like watson and guardian can accept cats too. when i was going back for hari raya during final year in uni, i have to bring back my pet cat. i put him in my bag and drugged him. i went to guardian near pudu and put him beside me with the bag opened. then one of the worker there just pet him and practically play with my sleepy kitty... the same goes to public transport, nobody objects with pet cat. he experienced lrt, putra, komuter etc...
