As long there is demand...they would not stop selling it...actually its up to people like you or me to decide..either you want to support or not...if you dont like it so dont buy and if there is no buyer than they will stop.We cant say " hei you.. you cant do this" coz its their right to do so.Some petshop is even worse.

If I'm not mistaken, they actually own a proper pet shop. The night stalls in uptown is a part-time thing as the animals r actually kept in proper cages/tanks, etc. Cuma I think the animals r stressed due to cuaca (kadang2 hujan sejuk coz these stalls opens after midnight) and the transportation probably menyebabkan diorang tak selesa.

I once saw one of those carts at Giant Kelana Jaya selling rabbits. They had 5 or 6 rabbits in one glass aquarium, they cant move...cruel kan?!

My p.o.v this is not rite... stress and unfair to them... . so as so called cat lovers...we are not suppose to support them...itu jer..they are so many ways to sell the animal..but not in a small cage with numbers in it. so cruel rite? cuba masukan mereka in a cell ramai-ramai..kedu gak manusia nie...

well, some petshops that i came across did provide a relatively small space for their animals. The issue that wud be worrying (selling animals by the sidewalks) is their health. god knows whether they had been properly vaccinated. looks nice from the outside but inside?

Sorry to say people,

But whatever it is, I don’t think our government care much for animal cruelty act or planning to impose special ruling for those who like to torture animals.

I am not going to elaborate more about this. I have done my part by sending reams of letter, signing petition etc, but … I don’t see anything!

I still see people who went to mosque 5 times a day participate (mostly indirectly) in animal torture, I have seen people who preach about human rights care less for strays begging for foods, I have people with higher educations hit animals for no reasons.. I have seen enough!

Some times, I just don’t know whether there is a part in any religions bible saying that “LOVE HUMAN BEING and Kill/Torture animals you will go to heaven”.

If you know any religions that have that kind of phrase in their bible, I would be pleased if any of you could tell me! But I doubt you would find one!

All these matters hurt me!

Hv u guys seen that show on astro on animal rescue thingy? They rescue animals from cruel human beings.

Anyway, how can we have this here in Malaysia? I see loads of pet stalls in Malaysia that doesnt care for the animals that they sell. i.e, putting rabbits in wired cages. putting lots of animal (rabbits) in one small aquarium.

Another incident I came across a few weeks ago is that,

I adopted a cat from 'an' animal shelter. She acts like she has been thru a lot in life and mhas a split personality. Anyway, when I called the shelter and asked for the cat's history, they dont have it!

And when I was still talking to this person, explaining the cat's behavior, he cut me off by saying, 'if u dont like, bring back and change with another one'!!

Wahhh!!! so easy hah?! GERAM!! Like beli barang, dont like...exchange!!
