After I fix my kids supper; the regular kibbles suddenly my Don rolling + grr sound + try to get something out of his mouth using his claws. I tried to help but I got the first scratch from Don. He is really piss and I don't know what was he try to get rid from his mouth. I struggle to help him and I notice that his left canine teeth( gigi taring ) is hooking a strand of thread from the collar ( tersangkut kat benang yang terkeluar dari collar tu). So I straight away cut the damn collar...

Pastu aku check bibir, gums and gigi dia. Seems ok tapi dia penatla pastu... pasal terguling2 nak keluarkan benang tu. Nie gambar dia lepas incident tu.. beside my wife..


Just imagine if this happen when I'm not at home ??? Alhamdulillah ( thank god ) I'm home to save him.

Hmm, I never put a collar on my cat neck. Even for outing, I use harness that lilit his body and arm, not neck. I think it's not safe coz my cat yg dulu always struggle to let go the collar. And its make his neck lost a lot of fur.

As for our cats, Gary and Button used to wear collar...but after the first collar berbulu, we bought new collars. But somehow our dear Gary couldnt get use to the sound of the bigger bell. Each time she wears the collar, she behaves like kena rasuk...hehe. So we had to take it off her and soon after Button also had to loose the collar because of Gary.

But if you want to put a collar on your cat, you can use the Cat Safe collar. Its much safer as it allows the cat to come loose if got caught or anything like that. Not really costly too. I got mine at RM15 i think and i still have 3 very very new ones....thanks to the penakut Gary.

Now....i only use the harnest of i ever take them on outings. Its safer and looks smarter too.

Bhutan do wear collar. Never bother her to have the collar. I do check the collar to see if it spoiled already and replace new. Easy for me to find her,coz of the bell sound.. and she love the bell, always jumps around to make the bell sound. At least if by accident, she's lost, people know she belong to somebody because of the collar, instead of thinking she's a stray cat. But yeah, we have to becareful to make sure that the colar is safe, not spoiled, not too tight, all the basic safety measure lar..

Dont let your cat wear the same collar too long.. it will get " berbulu2 " because cat sometime scratch the collar if he/she felt uncomfortable or feeling that he/she has something on him/her..

aduhai kesiannye dia. dulu i tried giving my max a safety collar yg boleh terbuka if they tersangkut ke apa, but when he went missing for about a week, the collar pun went missing. lepas tu i tak pakaikan lagi dah. as for outing of course harness la. ada pernah i saw someone kat ikano bawa kucing dia guna collar. kesian kucing tu kene tarik kat leher because the cat went to the other direction. mcm tak sayang kucing je.

the main reason i tak bagi pakai collars to my cats sebab i tgk mcm dorang tak selesa je. especially time dorang baring and put the head on top of their arms. also time grooming themselves.
