Mido is skinny? Really? Pinky doesnt grow that much. She was shedding quite a lot a few months back. Now almost togel and her fur hasnt grown much since then. Brought her to 2 vets, and vet said nothing wrong with her. They said prolly due to over grooming.

Aircon doesn't affect type!

Do you actually meant that for an MC, whether he's in a 24/7 airconditioned room or 24/7 fanned room, it doesnt really matter? Heard from someone that to place an MC in an airconditioned room would help to enhance the fluffiness of an MC's fur? how true?

They'd certainly retain coat better and it would (could?) help increase coat, but as I said, aircon doesn't influence type - the basic structure. In fact, at the first ever MCC show, there was a neutered british kitten which had one of the best coats you could ever feel - and I'm a Brit coat snob! He lived without aircon, (fans, of course) but his pedigree was designed for coat texture!

Remember at the beginning of this thread, the petstore owner told me that the father of the MC kit is actually a "Maine Coon Short Hair". Is there such a thing as a Short Hair Maine Coon??

Thanks for the confirmation. Just kinda need some form of assurance from someone who's more experienced and knowledgeable than me, of cos.

When he mentioned that to me, my immediate response was like, "Huhhhhh!!!??? No lah, can't be. Impossible. I've never read about one, or worse still, seen one. Are you sure???" This was my exact reply to him. Guess what was his reply? "Have, sure have. You don't know?" along with the sarcastic smile. I just look at him, and gave him the weirdest/strangest look of my face. arrrgggghhhh!!! he's not just an IRRESPONSIBLE BYB, worsen by a sense of dishonesty that just emerged within him.
