i buat kat jabatan kerajaan (don't want to mention the daerah name, its not klinik kembiri)... money constrain, tp akhirnya kene jugak korek duit sane sini to hantar them to swasta...

petang semalam blk keje i tgk jahitan suddenly terbuka, mlm b4 klinik bukak i dah terpacak depan another klinik (swasta), vet said dah kene kuman, dia kene buka semula jahitan, plus potong lagi panjang sedikit, kene cuci then jahit balik...

i tanya la vet salah i ker i tak kurung my kids dlm cage takut dia stress, i kurung dlm empty room attached with dry n clean bathroom, i even everyday clean & mop the room he said no, kurung dlm rumah pun takper... dia said that mesti previous operation tak cukup hygiene & maybe tak bagi antibiotik...

i rasa bersalah sgt coz i rasa kiki is not that active jilat her wound, cik puteh yes i put e-collar & caged her bcoz i tgk she's too active licking her wound...

entahla, jadikan lah kisah saya sebagai pengajaran, go to the klinik that we know their profile... i menangis sepuas puas hati sambil peluk cik puteh semalam menyesal for what i have did to them... this is my first time send them for spay thinking to jaga dorang betul2 tapi jadi macam ni...

please kawan2 pray for my kids.... i sgt2 harap mereka akan survive kalau tak i akan menyesal seumur hidup i...

Yes, hygiene and proper sterilisation of the operation room plus the utensils adalah very, very penting. Some personel r very negligent on this (yes!) but it is up to us to be muka tebal, rajin to be observant and check things out rather than be sorry later. If not satisfied, do not send our kids there, cari tempat lain.

Faiz_linda, monitor yr cat well, do not hesitate to bring back to clinic kalo masih ada tanda infection. Is yr cat on antibiotics every day? Antibiotics injection only last 2 days, kena at least a full course of oral antibiotics juga otherwise the infection can be life threatening, not to mention a lot of pain.

Spend time with yr cat, belai dia dan whisper soft loving words to calm her. She must be scared to death. Jangan bagi kembong or daging lembu. Boiled chicken tanpa garam is good.

Tolong sebut klinik di daerah mana so that it doesn't happen to another beloved cat of some one else ... Think of other ppl too ...

mcm ni la FK n all forumers, don't go to any clinic in daerah Tampin, NS even it is swasta...he's going to open his own clinic there...

kiki only... cik puteh i pki awal2 e-collar coz tgk dia aggressive sejak lepas operation while kiki is more calm...

Sabar sabarlah linda.lepas ni jagalah kucing2 tu dgn baik.sodehnya aku tengok durang.tlg kasih nama hospital mana ko pigi utk peringatan kpd kawan2 kita yg lain.

i know how u feel..kucing i dulu pernah sampai 4 kali kene hantar jahit wound die.bukan spay mase tu tapi hernia..mmg huru hara.sampai kene marah dgn vet..bile pakaikan e-collar tau2 dah terbukak n then tadaaa ..then jahit,terbukak lagi,jahit balik n terbukak sikit..mmg mase tu menangis2..so at last we ikat e-collar tu,n kat wound die sapu krim haruan everyday.alhamdulillah now dah 2 years after the incident,die sgt2 sihat n bulat.n we learn our lesson since then.i have 10 cats,after the incident,semua yg spay kene pakai collar and kurung dlm cage except mase mkn.n sbb dah selalu spay kucing,i cume kurung diorang for max 5 days even though vet kate kurung 10 days.dlm 5 hari tu i akan lepaskan diorang untuk didukung dimanje2 n round2 kejap je then masuk balik sangkar.after 5 days,they are free to roam again.

nanti make sure u tanye vet tu ape follow up yang u kene buat ok..i think u better pakai kan e-collar sebagai langkah berjaga2 walaupun kiki tak jilat wound die.sbb sikit2 die jilat nnti lame2 terbukak...walaupun mungkin mmg vet tu yg tak professional,tapi untuk safety u pakaikan die collar ye,cam si puteh..its ok..as long as u belai die,jaga die,ckp2 dgn die,die takkan rase stress dgn collar tu.first few hours die akan resah but u pujuk2 la die,ckp2 dgn die nnti mesti die ok.

smg kiki selamat cam kucing i.dun be too sad ok.u need to be strong for her.

4 times jahit??? owh plzzz... jgn la jadi macam tu pada i... plzzz God... mereka tak bersalah...

can apply ek cream haruan??? jenama ape??? vet suggest ker?

after solat i always ask God to make me strong to harung all this... me even mintak biarla sakit tu pindah pada i...

yes 4 kali..jgn kan u,i ingat2 balik pun rase cm nk pengsan.mane tak nye,first tgk ok,2nd time tgk dah terbukak jahit tu.menangis mase tu mmg tak ingat ape2 lagi dah.smpai kene marah dgn vet.huhuu

my vet kate ok if gune krim haruan.but u better ask your vet for second opinion.sbb lain vet lain caranya.my babies sume pun mmg me n my sis gune krim haruan.any krim haruan will do.kalau after spay,start on 2nd day baru i sapu krim tu.sapu pelan2,cukup2 je tak leh byk n tak leh skit sgt sbb tak nak tempat jahit tu basah n kene make sure wound tu bersih.then antibiotik 2 kali sehari pagi n mlm,my vet provide.other than that make sure diorang mkn n minum.layan diorang 200% extra.

DO NOT apply anything la ... the vet dah sterilise the wound ... tak boleh sebarang sentuh the wound, nanti contaminate balik shushah!! U don't know what is in the cream (lain jenis, lain batch ...), nanti irritate the wound pulak ... better really play safe and take no chances.

Never touch the wound at all with anything, especially yr hands. Make sure it is dry at all times, tak kena basah. Try to use shredded newspaper for litter. Litter sand takut terlekat kat wound dia.

Kalau dia tak biasa ngan newspaper, put some old poo/urine kat shredded newspaper tu. Use a very, very low poo box not more than 2 inches high mcm yg jenama Fido tu so that she will never scrap her sensitive wound semasa keluar masuk. Kalau tak jumpa Fido box tu, boleh buat guna cardboard box, potong dia.
