Kalo dia terlalu sakit hingga hind legs tak leh angkat badan tu yang buat dia kadang-kadang dragging the belly (dat's why saya suggest guna poo box with very low sides and shredded newspaper tu ... ) on the ground (it happened to some cats of mine). So sakit that the cat cannot lie on the tummy, dia lie on the side for 1-2 days. Dat is the reason for all my cautions. Make sure U intai the cat every hour or so, especially 1-2 days to remove all soiling IMMEDIATELY to prevent soiling the wound or fur.

Biasanya saya alas thickly dengan many layers of newspaper which I pull out gently from the top if soiled. I tak biar kan the cage for unlined with the wire and tray at bottom - tak nak dia gesel perut kat wire bottom or floor mat. I always line thickly with clean newspaper - ensures cleanliness more effectively.

Kalau operate kat klinik kembiri, less possibility of complications. Jangan guna the vet yg datang ke umah, bcos I always believe proper sterilisation of the operating room and its utensils are better done and achieved in a well equiped clinic (more so if the cat is female bcos its operation is more major than that of a male) than other places to reduce possibility of infection.

That paper keras sikit and less absorbent. Better bawak newspaper dari umah. Make sure U pulas the shredded newspaper several times then tarik apart a little so that not so ketat for them to kambus-kambus before use to make them softer and stick together and kurang senang berterabur.

those who live in KL go to klinik kembiri sbb telah jelas kerja & tempat dia bagus (according to fk la, i tak penah pegi pun)... jgn jadi mcm i, yakin pada vet yg i tak tahu prestasi dia lagi....

y not after this kita shortlisted kan all those klinik yg bagus to spay/neuter their kids (with price list) bg setiap negeri... (maybe kene bukak thread baru) so that lepas ni beginner like me know where to go...

yup..i pun buat mcm yg furkids cakap ni.kat dlm cage tu i letak satu bakul plastik yg rendah for them to sleep n then area cage yg lain i cover with many layers of newspaper.bile diorang poo n pee je terus cepat2 tukar sbb kene bersih tak mau kene infection.cepat,sng n mmg efektif.
my babies pandai..bile lepas poo n pee trus masuk bakul.bile i dah tukar newspaper tu baru jalan2 balik dlm cage tu.

Sebenar kotak ni a little tinggi sebab saya buat untuk Mandy yang bukan sedang recuperate from operation ... yang pasang utk operation cases ni kena lebih rendah ahhhh ....

Dis box saya dapat percuma from pet shop ... I like sebab cardboard dia tebal ...
