As some of you may know, I have move to Kulim last month, and finding my cat supply here is not convenient at all. After been searching for a while, finally, I found one petshop in Taman Selasih (they have a lot of aquarium/fish shop around here but I can only find this one shop for cats), luckily they have blackwood here, 3.6kg for rm50. However while in the shop I heard the kittens meowing, so I when looking for the sound and found that they have a few cats, caged at the back of the shop. The cats condition is so poor, they dont even put litter sand and one of the cats poo inside its food bowl.

And there's also one very young mother cat inside a cage with two kitten, maybe around 2-3 days old. I could see a lot of fleas on the kitten body and the mother cats also didnt seem to care for her kitten. I felt like crying seeing the environment and their conditions. All of them look so sad. Then my boyfriend pull me away, saying "don't look" but its to late. Inside the dustbin, was one dead kitten, still has blood, just thrown like rubbish inside the bin, its quite disgusting.

Because there are no other petshop that I know of there, I HAD to buy my cat stuff there. If not, i dont think I ever step foot inside that store ever again...

Wow, thats cruel. We had the same issue last time and we resorted in buying the cat food at shopping malls. Also we spread the story around to get ppls attention. It works, and I know the shop are not getting much visitor nowadays.

Orang SPCA pergi nengok tapi tahu tak tindakan berkesan apa yang dapat diambil oleh mereka?

Saya tanya soalan nie sebab kitorang ingat lagi kes satu ketika dulu where we forumers felt so helpless and frustrated: kes Ajay (betol tak ingatan saya?) laporkan kes kucing Molly yang dia jumpa kat laundrette KL ... mereka pergi nengok, pastu pegawai Jabatan Haiwan pun pergi nengok ... semua nengok aje tapi tak leh buat apa ... alasan tak de power itu, ini ... pastu (cerita rancak ... ) mereka satu gang (kind forumers) buat keputusan utk ambik tindakan sendiri ... rescue Molly sendiri ... tapi sayang ... mereka niat baik tapi amateurish ... ingat Molly kocing duh dan akan patuh kepada masterplan mereka ... tapi si Tomei tu panik ... dan lari balik ke dalam kedai, menyorok! The sad thing is lepas tu, mereka gaduh sesama sendiri ... but in the end, tak tau aper terjadi to the poor cat sebab tak dapat rescue dan pihak berkuasa kata mereka tak ader kuasa nak buat aper, cuma bagi nasihat kepada kedai utk lebih prihatin ... end of story ...
