wow an entire day?! if i'm only planning on entering the domestic section, the kittens and i still need to be there at 9.00?

im worried the little guys will get stressed. do your cats handle cat shows well - no stress? or are there techniques for keeping them waiting happily.

do i need to bring my own cage or is a carrier enough (quite cramped though)?

any more info that you can share with all of us?

Okay..lets check below...

- bring your cat to the exhibiton hall

- before enter your cat will be vetted by the appointed DR. They will check thru for fungus, flea, tick, mite or wound.

- then they will allow you to go in. Founded fungus disqualified

- Prepare your liner and place iot in the cage. To make sure kalau ada kucing yang poo...

- place your cat in the cage (provided by orginazer). Make sure the right number.

- Okay for FSM the categories will be - Pedigree and Domestic (international show)
For Domestic - Break out into various categories - Adult (Male + Female), Adult neutered (male + Female), Kitten (below 10 months). They will pick top 10 for each categories. Other awards are Best cat in show, Best cat for each category etc...

- For MCC - Pedigree and Domestic (International Show)
For Domestic - break out - Adult (Male) (Female), Neutered, K10 (Long n Short Hair), K6 (Long n Short hair). Other awards - Best Cat, Best Long Hair, Best Short Hair, Outstanding. Only top 3 they will choose.

- While judging you are not allowed to go in (ring) The stewards will handle your cat. Not to worry they are really expert on how to handle it. They have their way.

- u can only feed up your cat while break. (drink)

- and the end baru mereka announce the award winners.

Kalo tak silap akulah , selepas dier judge each category dier terus announce the winner kan ??? bukan tunggu all categori habis dulu baru announce the winner.

Dulu Kak Azian sponsor hamper (tak per lah orang kaya... ) ... kali ni siapa pula ? Just setakat dapat ribbon jer tak bestlah untuk pet kategori... Untuk pedegree tu lainlah sebab ribbon is the most important rather than the hamper...

it depends...CFA umum kemudian cuma letak ribbon ajer..tak kisah sangat tentang ribbon janji food boleh supply untuk 2-3 bulan heheheheh

nak tanya sikit, tak pernah masuk apa2x competition for cats. i have mixed persian...just masuk 5 months.tapi nampak besar sket mcm beruang sebab ikut bapa dia ( british shorthair )..cam ner yek rules and regulations

okay Lady B..nanti bila ada cat show..i will inform in the forum...senang ajer..as long your cat meet the syarat...under domestic cat...as long you dah vaccin, healthy, no flea, tick and fungus even mites...then the ring is yours..so keep update...

I have never entered my cats in pedigree category only domestic one. Can you tell me how pedigree cats are judged? How many categories are there in the international cat show of FSM and MCC? Is Scottish Shorthair allowed to complete in the pedigree category? Thanks.
