Hi
Anyone had any experience in cat show? What criteria determine the champion? and do all the cats must have certificates in order to enter the cat show? I am planning to show my cat this November, but totally have no idea + experience on cat show ... document preparation and cat presentation. Thanks .. ![]() |

Checked it out before regarding this when I thought of showing Ginger off. Must have certs or pedigree status I was told for official competitions. The unofficial ones normally run by pet shops do accept those without certs. I'm not exactly very certain but that's what I was told by some participants.
Criterias to win, similar to dogs I think. In Malaysia, I'm not sure how they judge but international ones, quite a lot to adhere to. Do a google la, plenty of information. |

I checked with my friend yesterday on her experience in last year Kuching Pet Expo in civic centre. There are many categories. Open category (kitten, purebreed) ... must have certificates (international + local) and those without certificates can enter local breed categories. ...

Sounds vaguely similar to what I was told. So, you going for it? I think it would be a good step forward if you intend to get active in competitions.
Go la, for the fun. |

Ello, well good for you. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun and new friends, and who knows maybe can get sponsor for your cat. Lifetime, free food. Ain't that nice.
Well, I haven't really thought about showing any of my cats but maybe I will in the future. Well, you go ahead first la, then tell me what I need to do to make them show ready. You'll need to host your pictures externally then link to the external site from here. I'm looking for one that's hassle free and fast. |
