i have a nice baby now.. but he's just a baby!
hmm.. gotta think about it lah. he doesnt have a home yet.
but we dont really want to sell him.. but then again.. no space to keep him.
So actually one year away seems like a good thing-- cos a year more and we'll have more space.
dont know if he wants to be shown though.. temperament wise.. a risk i'll have to take.. : thinks thinks:

Does the cat get a vote? (Does it care if it's a DW rather than settled in its own home?) Maybe I'm a bit too attached to my TV-watching bed buddies or too over showing and big wins, but.........but............

The cats always have a say Lesley. I have stopped showing cats that have not liked being shown before, no matter how top show they are! Mind you the cats will tell you in all manner of ways and means if they want to be shown or not...

Cool

very true, all my campaigning cats have one thing in common - they like to be handled. In the most "extreme" cases (Antonio, Bohemia), they can go anywhere and feel instantly like home without much breaking-in problem..........

The fact is, if your cat doesn't love to show - despite its quality, this cat is not gonna get anywhere anyway, so I think that summerizes things.........

Sure, cats tell you when they're sick of showing - my point was going off for a year to 'boarding school' far away, to do the circuit. I just couldn't do it! A personal thing, completely. Couldn't risk the relationship changing on return.

Unfortunately for Asians it has become a necessity due to quarantine issues. Especially for Singaporeans. It also depends on the temperament of the cat itself.

I'm the product of boarding school myself - one of Australia's best actually!

Hehehehe - by the time I went to GGS it was already co-ed hon....LOL

Anyhow due to my back issues, I never went to Timbertop!

(Prince Charles couldn't handle Timbertop btw, apparently had to finish the year in Corio...)
