How abt either one of you open a thread on rosette.....the topic kind of sounds interesting.....as for me I'm just into wanting to see the different types of rosettes......perhaps you guys can share pixs of your favourite rosettes receive so far.......(and your rosette collection)

Good point Suzy, I could show you the rosettes we've been getting since the beginning of the 08-09 season if you want...you'll have to ask Russ which rosette is his fave coz he has many he the cats have won in Europe....

A rough estimate - I think my cats have picked up some 280+ rosettes for the last 3 years, but most of them did leave with my cats to their owners after the seasons were over, and I only keep the most memorable ones...........

However forget those European rosettes - many of them are rather average............and indeed, for the sake of conservation, many European clubs actually recycle rosettes from donors, so you may end up receiving rosettes of all different designs (and different club & show prints on them as well) even in the same ring..........

Anybody know if Herman Online has been updated with August 31 show results?

No it hasn't. The show has not yet been scored by CFA. In fact, the BCC show also has not been scored by CFA

It seems that this always the case show after show. It requires some rambling from an authority like you Abmummy before the results are posted to CFA.

lol...me authority? I don't think so Folizan. CFA checks up on it themselves - they licensed the shows after all. If results are not received by CFA in a timely manner (though there is some allowance for non US shows, especially Asia) CFA will contact the show secretary/manager and ask where the sheets are.

Show rule 16.10 states:

"The show secretary MUST send the following to the Central Office by EXPRESS MAIL Next Day Service, UPS OVERNIGHT, FEDERAL EXPRESS or an equivalent overnight service, on the first (1st) business day after the close of the show..."

and it goes on to list the documents required which is essentially the show package duly completed.

So, since Sept 01 was a public holiday, the package should have been sent out on Sept 02. If so, the latest it should arrive CFA is 2 days later say, Sept 04. Assuming 5 business days to score we should see the results (either Herman or the online Almanac) within this week.

However, as of today, the online almanac has not stated if Central Office has or has not received the package.

Thing does not necessary work the way you always expect it to be even if the result is send to CFA in time does not mean it will be updated immediately after that.

What is it that you wish to know in the show scoring maybe Arisham or me can help you. Is it the epoint scoring for your cats or the number of winner ribbon your cats had collected. But I assume you shud know how many winner ribbons your cats had collected since you were there showing them yourself, anyway you can still contact us.

Very true..however, I have checked for the past many shows...there are none overnight courier in Malaysia..the fastest is 3 working days by DHL...

There are no such things as "authority"...every show exhibitor have the right to email show secretary should you need clarifications or help...However, since I'm keeping all the show scores/record...you may email me should you need any assistance...i would be happy to help..
