ICE - In Case of Emergency
Something that was forwarded to my email. I find this interesting and useful and good should we make use of this method. But how many would even wana be bothered with this method?? If you ask me, i'm very into it
 Dear guys and gals, We all carry our mobile phones with hundreds of names/numbers stored in its memory but yet nobody, other than ourselves knows which of these numbers belong to our close and dear ones?? In case we are involved in an accident or had a heart attack, etc, and the people attending to us get hold of our mobile phone but don't know which number to call to inform our family members. Yes, there are many numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of emergency?? For this reason, we must have one or more telephone numbers stored under the name ICE (In Case of Emergency) in our mobile phones. Recently, the concept of ICE is catching up quickly. It is simple, an important method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by majority of the population, just store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency as ICE (meaning In Case of Emergency). The idea thought up by a paramedic who found that when they went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore he thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. Following a disaster in London, the East Anglican Ambulance Service has launched a national In Case of Emenrgency (ICE) campaign. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would then be able to quickly contact your next of kin, by simply dialing the number stored as ICE. It really could save your life, or put your loved one's mind at rest. For more than one contact name, simply enter ICE1, ICE2, ICE3, etcs. A great idea that will make a difference

a very good method indeed
my own method of ICE is by keeping a namecard/card/piece of paper with my mom's, bro's and partner's full address and phone no together with my ic.

Update*** There's no use talking politely to domestic cat breeder because they won't listen to you. Please Publicly SHAME them. That is the only way teaching them a lesson!!! The way you deal with animals will reflect on how you deal with humans stop breeding domestic cats | start spaying/neutering your cat(s) stop supporting those breeders | start saving strays cat

Already implement this method actually... thank's mummy for bringing it up... i already practice this with additional Personal Emergency Card which is you can download it at
http://www.mvfra.org It is really useful if sumthin happen to you where all the detail inside content ur bloodtype and additional 2 person contact number with the detail which is can be used to be as reference person to deal with in any case of emergency..

That's a good idea...... at the moment what i have on my front windscreen of my car is a sticker that says " I'm Catholic-Please ctc (*my church number attach) in case of emergency and in need of a priest". I love the sticker.

my mobile phone pula clearly stated which number belongs to who. mcm my hubby's number i record as husband, my sister's number i put like elder sister or younger sister followed by her name.I recorded all numbers according to their status in our family.like my mum I letak mama's house in KK and elder brother's number blah blah.mcm tulah.

nice info!!! but we should aware that some of us put a protection password to the handphone for some security purpose... so the best method is to have both ICE conventional ( card ) & electronic (handphone) hurm or maybe can stick some kind like a small ICE info at the back of our handphone
