nak tanya sket.. adakah saya dikira kejam sebab tak kasi my cats kluar rumah langsung.. somebody did asked me why not let your cat play outside.. sebab dier ckp binatang pun nak bebas jugak.. hurm.. tetiba saya wonder dan jadi serba salah.. he has a point there sebab saya ni mmg tak kasi kucing kluar rumah.. kluar bilik main kat hall pun memalam je.. about 2-3 hours.. and at the same time.. saya plak takut my cats hilang ke.. kene kidnap ke.. tetiba terasa nak beli cage besi besar plak.. nak letak dlm cage taruk kat luar umah.. kasi fresh air.. tapi still tak bebas gak... huhuhu.. camne ek..

klu pun ko nak bagi dia kuar pastikan ko ada.cukup time amik dia masuk.akibat si Peterpan terlepas dari rumahlah dia bergaduh dgn kucing jantan stray jatuh dari tgkt 3 smp patah kaki.

Bukan kejam but terlalu sayang... takut apa2 yg terjadi kat our precious cats....
Dulu, kucing big brother I sebab happy nampak ex-sis-in-law I, dia lari terus from across the street ....."piak".......... kena langgar kancil. Tulang dia patah 6 ker 8......... surgeri, insert a very "big hip pin" for months.... tapi luckily she survived and lived till she was about 6 yrs old .... then she went missing.....

rumah aku apartment so kawasan tak luas sangat tempat yg dia jalan2 tu.aku ikut kat belakang.gilir2.sekali kuar 2 ekor.lepas 2 ekor masuk,2 ekor lg kuar.

tp klu ko nak pakaikan dia leash mcm selalu org buat kat anjing. ada jual gak leash utk kucing.

Memang la kucing pun inginkan kebebasan gak......tapi cuba kita fikirkan balik adakah kebebasan tue baik untuk dia sebab sedari kecik sampai la nie dia dok dalam rumah aje........jika kita lepas bebas dia pandai kah dia mencari makanan sendiri?. Selama nie kita bagi dia makan makanan yang terbaik dan bagi dia kasih sayang dengan yang sebaik mungkin.....tapi jika dia lepas bebas banyak rintangan yang dia terpaksa harungi....mungkin orang lain kidnap........atau kena langgar keta ke? , tak jumpa jalan nak balik umah dah jadi stray lak......kan sadis jadinya.....kesimpulannya....kucing kita hak kita so sebagai penjaga/ibubapa kita tau apa yang kita wat tue yang terbaik untuk anak2 kita.....(betul ke??? jangan mare yea ini saya punya pendapat aje...sbb dah pernah anak kena kidnap serrrrikkkkk)

do u really think the cat really wants the freedom.

i already tried with my cats. open the door and let them out of the house, flat by the way. half way thru, they run back inside the house.

freedom comes with a cost, they could be run over by cars, scalded by hot water, kicked by some intolerant bastard or kidnap by some good samaritan who think a beautifully cared cat is a stray.

Mulut kebanyakan orang tu lebih banyak membebel, friend, pandai kata orang patut buat this, that and the other ... jangan dengar sangat , boleh naik giler if you are not careful.

Friend, this I can say to you based on my own pengalaman with my FurKids laaaa .....

Only you yang benar-benar keadaan kawasan rumah you dan juga perangai anak-anak you.

Only you can weigh all the pros and cons after taking into consideration the amount of danger your cats will be exposed to dekat kawasan rumah you (adalah berlainan sekali berbanding dengan orang lain) dan your cats' punya capability to look after themselves well and to run home (ini depends very much on how well you train them as well as the cat punya perangai also, plus where your cats are spayed/neutered).

It also depends on what kind of bad neighbours you have, whether they use poisons (weedkiller, rat poisons, have leaking motor oils and fluids all over, etc).

Your cats got skolah well outdoors before or not, or is it a full indoors yg tak pernah jejak keluar and learn socialising with other cats and learn to recognise a hostile cat? You kena tinjau betol-betol.

Memang outdoors tu seronok utk dia, tapi it depends on many, many factors. My cats all dapat rasa outdoors TETAPI saya monitor every single day to note danger levels and new dangers and adjust accordingly.

Are you prepared to go to such lengths? Most people don't.

I am also lucky to live in a considerably good safe neighbourhood where not many people rear cats or steal cats, and a clean neighbourhood not running over with rats with ppl having to tabur rat poison around to accidentally kill my cats!

I also am considerate to put in a lot of efforts to make my compound clean and attractive (cool and shady with lots of plants to hide, lepak and play hide and seek, chase-chase in) and I make effort to re-arrange my garden and put in new plants/playthings with new smells and sight to attract their interests in novelty.

Sebab saya tak mahu my cats make a nuisance of themselves kat umah orang lain and jump up and scratch orang punya kereta, etc. Buat orang marah for nothing ...

You need to always be on your toes and all that, friend, not just simply releasing them and closing the door ... Are you prepared to put in all these efforts?

Otherwise forget about the great outdoors, you can make things just as interesting indoors. Can make a small indoor garden for them too if you really want. Your cats punya safety should be your primary concern.

I think the main issue here is not indoors or outdoors but how to give your kids a fantastic time and an interesting life always. But safety must always be top priority.

My 2-sen ... eh, eh, tak pakai 1-sen lagik sekarang ... pembetolan ... my spohsen ...

saya pun tak lepas kan anak2 main kat luar tanpa pengawasan...kalau kasi keluar pun...one at a time...so that boleh monitor...memandangkan saya stay kat flat....so kena berhati2...anak2 jiran yg kecik2 tu...suka kucing...and suka picit and baling2 kucing gaks...for them kucing is toy...so sesekali je bawak kuar kat koridor tu....

some of my cats, bila letak kat luar....terus panjat pagar masuk balik dlm rumah ..

jadik....lepas kan anak2 diluar atau tidak...bukan masalah kejam or not...tp demi keselamatan anak2...

since my cats freely roaming dlm rumah...so consider my small hse tu tempat derang main kejar and explore la....bila balik keje...rumah pun jd mcm kapal pecah je...but I dont mind...since I love them so much...dlm rumah pulak...takde hiasan2 kaca or small2 decoration for their safety jugak lah....ada cat tree...ada tempt hide and seek jugak..and I built cat cage setinggi 7 kaki with a lot of shelf kat balconi belakang rumah....they can enjoy the outside view frm there..pintu mmg 24/7 bukak...for them to lari2...panjat2.....so..they enjoy them self...and I know they safe at home....
