well... What I've been advised need to shave a bit... but masa tu I really forgot about that... but so far my cats dont have any problem on that fungus.. if your cat indoors should be no problem.. but 2 weeks before deliver make sure deworming the mother...

any advise or info from the forumers...

I was told by the previous owner of my cats notto let the cats mate before I send them for deworming. So, deworm before mating? or deworm after pregnant?

Hi,

Any cats for breeding should take anti-parasite medication for at least once-twice a year. Since these medications is carried into the blood stream and is toxic to the parasites (till death), it might cross the placenta and might cause toxic to the fetus as well. So, I suggest deworming a couple of weeks prior the mating. Or simply follow the routine schedule deworming your cats.

I usually shave only the belly of the queens while/after the delivery. Well, I do not "shave" actually but just cut the fur short enough to exposs the nipples. That's the main purpose. If your queen is infected with any contagious diseases, fungus for instant, better cure the cat before breeding them.

Hope this will help.

regards, Loon
