today i tried to trim jasmine's fur...i mean i cut it with a scissor..but something else happen..instead of having it short..i have patches on her..any guide on how to trim ur cat's fur the proper way?do we cut the tip or the bottom of the fur?i mean for a really short hair cat..thanks in advance

usually people use shaver. But dont shave it from the skin, use a comb then shave little by little. If you use scissors, use a small 1, from top..that's wat I've learned, but if you're no expert, get a groomer to do it..however, if you dont mind your cat looking funny for a few weeks until the fur grows again, u are free to experiment any way you want, as long as it is safe and you dont accidentally cut things/parts you r not suppose to cut...good luck!
