please don't laugh...i have two dogs so I am bathing my kitten the same shampoo I use on my dogs. hehe. it's tea tree formula some more..lol.

the same way mcm si simistri...amik air panas..campur dgn air paip yg sejuk2 tu...then basahkan dia..but thanks god..jerry is not that difficult to take bath..she just relax..no sounds at all..tidak meronta2...nasib baik la dapat kucing yg sangat calm ni (masa mandi lah..kalau selain dari waktu mandi.sure kena gigit2 dan tak suka dipegang)...lepas tu lap2...then jemur kat matahari..at the same time comb her masa dia sedang bersihkan fur dia tu then bila dah kering sikit baru lah start sikat2..owhhh..mula2 tu kena lah lap telinga dia tu...kepala dgn muka tu just lap2 dgn tuala yg lembab..

How come thread starter tak beritahu kami how they groom/bathe their cats ah? Should be good to learn from the best kot?

That's why ahhhh... I was expecting her post when i open a new page, tapi kechiwa.... Mana tau if ada petua to keep the cat calm during the process... I tak larat kena scratch while bathing them... pastu meowing at high pitch that only can be heard during this time...mcm nak kena torture...

i believe that u have to start bathing your cat since they're small, masa depa kitten lagi...so that they get used with the water and tak takut sangat... same goes when you wanna blow them dry with the hair-dryer...kena mula dr kecik...for those yg ada kucin dah besar tu i tk sure la...

Not advisable to use dog shampoo on cat unless the label on the pack said so. If only dog picture on the label dont ever use it on cat. It could be poisonous to the cat. Few years back, I used a shampoo that whiten white fur for dog on cat, it kill my 2 white cats within less than a week. Refer the matter to a vet as I bought the shampoo from them, and they replies is, "that should not have happened..." but the cat get sick after they lick their fur.

sama la perangai dgn 3 ekor kucing i.. terutama manja la.. kalo mandikan dia.. akan jadi lama.. sbb manja suka main air.. setiap hari kalo i masuk bilik air dia akan ikut masuk jugak.. x takut air lansung.. cara i mandi kan kucing2 i pun sama mcm simistri.. guna air suam.. they like it.. sib baik la senang nak mnadi kan 3 ekor 2.. kalo mandikan.. x bbunyi langsung.. cool je.. lebih2 lagi bila kita massage bdn depa ngan shampoo.. i keringkan guna towel biasa je.. then biarkan diorg grooming bulu diorg sendiri.. bila bulu depa dah kering.. depa akan tido...

Well Personally speaking that you have to train the cat from young ,where some ppl practice to bath the cat from the day 1 birth (But of coz is a simple one). As for the adult cat that you adopt which not used to bathing you have to be very gentle and patience... Well it took me 3 years for me 1st cat that i adopt to get her close to me and let me bath her nicely.. hehehe

OK today hari pertama nak mandikan dia. Sebab dalam seminggu ini tak mahu mandikan tommy sebab tak nak bagi dia terkejut....masuk rumah baru dah kena mandi.....so will share after this......
