Malam yg panjang
Last night, I came home early about 8pm. After change litter, topup kibbles and water, I decided to groom Tommy. And wallah, this is amount of fur i get after comb him. Can u guys tell me is this the actual amount of fur when grooming a long hair cat.

Amy, this is nothing compared to Izzi's
 I too showered and groomed Izzi last night and I got 3 or 4 times more fur than what you had. It all depends on how often you shower/groom your cats. Excessive shedding also suggests skin problems. I must admit I hate to groom lzzi whose fur is long, cottonish and sometimes matted arrhhhh...... I really should groom Izzi daily but I am too lazy

Amy, has Tom lost some weight?
If the matting is serious or the fur is unmanagably long, I will send Izzi for trimming. Easy for me and Izzi. I don't know, I think Izzi prefers his fur short as well... he looks tidier and smarter, and will not have to spend a lot of time licking himself, and most importantly, less vacuuming for me to do!
