For brush try Mason Pearson, from London. I've been all these years asked to buy for my relatives whenever I went back to London since the early 90s'......

It's the best out there, end of story

that is a slicker. cheap ones will hurt you cat, especially if you are not good at using it. the purpose of the comb is to remove dead hair.

how long is your cat's hair? what type of coat is it? persian? forest cat?
different hair types benefit from different types of comb. our double coated SH is brushed with the same brush as the MC.

Hi.

Im also confused with the types of brush to use. This is my 1st time having a persian. They are still kittens of 2 months. Could you guys help me with the types of brush with their specific purpose?

Hi azeland, you can use small brush for you persian cat and you also need metal combs for better look. Long haired cats need to be groomed every day using a comb instead of a brush.
