Hi fahani,
Is your cat having allergies? Sound like one to me . Anyway, if the skin problem due to fungus, normally the vet will recommend "Melaseb" shampoo. Almost all petshop have this one. I never heard of "Selvazon".For Melaseb, u only need to use it at trouble area. Use sponge and wet it Melaseb shampoo and apply it at trouble area. Leave it for couple of minutes and wash it. Try to wash it every day or alternate day till the skin recover. Good luck ![]() |

Ohhh ya.. I forgot to ask certain question referring to your thread above.
1. How old is your cat? 2. How many affected? 3. Are they indoor or outdoor? 4. What type of diet they are having at present? 5. What is the vet comment/ remark on the cat skin problem? See whether I can assist u or not ... |

Okay Fahani... the spelling of the shampoo is sebazole... you can buy it from Petzone Petshop at Uptown Damansara. In front of Mc donald there is one petshop call Galaxy. U have to go further up at the end of the junction. nearby to Watson (if Im not mistaken). The number of the shop is 03 77108113. U may ask them whether they have stock or not. Based on them Malaseb will make your white fur goin' yellowish. They experienced it before. But in term of treatment it is almost the same. The process was just as what exotic said. |

Hi Hi.. thanks for the feedbacks.. appreciate it a lot.
![]() Anyway, I have 2 cats currently. They're still kittens..roughly 3-4months old. Both of them stay indoor. With all the stray cats outside , i don't dare to let them out. Does Melaseb works the same as Sebazole? If they are the same thing, i'll just find the Melaseb in Taipan. (Thanks Fairra for the TAipan info). I was suggested to try the Sebazole from the kittens' previous owner. Thanks CatLover for the petshop info. If the Melaseb does not work..i'll head to uptown to search for the Sebazole shampoo. I do hope the shampoo works . Getting pretty tired of applying the vet cream on them. Kittens tak pandai duduk diam2.. hehe... |

P/s Referring to Exotic's question.. the vet doc said that it's some sort of Fungus. Makes my cat has blotchy hard and flaky spots. The fur comes out easily when pulled. Icky.
