We’d like to invite pet lovers to convene at Pet Epicure every first Sunday of each month to enjoy special discounts, meet fellow pet lovers as well as to speak to experts on relevant topics.



6th April - Basic Cat Care Demonstration and Feline Environment Enhancement

4th May – Cat Bathing Demonstration

1st June – Canine Meet The Breed and Canine Environment Enhancement

6th July – Ask the (Almost) Vet

Basic Cat Care Demonstration and Feline Environment Enhancement

We’ll show you how to clean your cat’s ears, cut her nails and how to administer medication. We’ll also teach you how to brush a short haired cat and a long haired cat. We will also answer any questions you may have pertaining to basic feline care. And as a special bonus, we will be giving out an info sheet on how to enhance you cat’s environment so it won’t be so bored if it is confined.



Cat Bathing Demonstration

We will demonstrate how to bathe a short haired cat and a long haired cat. It may seem very obvious but many people are not aware that there are different methods and products for shorthaired vs. long haired cats. We’ll also teach you safety tips to be observed for you and your cat.



Canine Meet The Breed and Canine Environment Enhancement

We will gather a selection of dog breeds available locally so you can meet them face to face. This is still subject to MPAJ approval and will be confirmed asap. We also intend to show you how to make toys to amuse you dog while you are away.



Ask the (Almost) Vet

Isabel Ling, a final year Vet Sci student from University of Queensland with a special interest in holistic veterinary care, will make herself available to answer your questions. She practices Reiki, pet massage and recommends homeopathy, acupuncture, acupressure, flower remedies and natural diets.



Feline Meet the Breed - to be confirmed

As part of the build-up to the Merdeka Cat show by FSM, we would like to give the public a chance to meet some of the fantastic felines who will be at the show. We will also educate spectators on show etiquette and show mechanisms.

September - Hooray for Exotics

We'd like to gather exotic fanciers to share info and knowledge this time round. We have lined up sugar gliders, fat tail gerbils, leopard geckos, skinks, tortoises, turtles, scorpions and snakes. And maybe some ferrets J

alternative healthcare for animals is a booming industry. it is so much gentler and focuses on prevention which is something western/traditional medicine fails on completely. frankly, i prefer to prevent problems than have to deal with issues. also, it is much more acceptable to the animals. most cats and dogs love massage, reiki and don't seem to mind bach flower remedies.

feel free to bring your cat along if it is neutered and comfortable with the idea of traveling and new places. we'll be demonstrating our kibble run and cricket chasing for cats...bring you camera to get some funny photos

we'll also be getting our chocolate fountain out as we do love excuses to eat lots of chocolate. if possible, pls RSVP via email to petepicure@gmail.com so i can estimate how much food to prepare k?
