If he is not hungry yet, he will soon be because how much food can the petshop towkay put out for the strays outside his shop each day? Like everyone else, he doesn't have very deep or bottomless pockets (oh, how I wish .. Lesley!) Also, more and more strays are turning up. And the biggest and fittest fights to get at the limited food ...

STRAY CATS!

* One day my fren told me is fair for the cats to be on the streets that's what their nature of living is.........i told him call me back tomorrow after he finish taking all his 3 meals from a garbage bin..........if that's a bit hard, i told try nothing eating for a day at least.

He called me back the next day, finally realising that cats don't deserve to live such a life.

Hmmmmmmm..........i truly understand. You know what, it's totally impossible for this cat to be born as stray and had lived a life as stray to be on the size he is......and to the age he is......more than 3years i guess the cat is. He surely had a home. Thanks to the common practice in this boleh land whereby people would love to shift house leaving behind their pets.

Is indeed very difficult for us to help each and every animal we see......even with putting aside our own needs we can only feed to a certain level. I actually ended up with stray dogs at my gate/porch.........u know one of the dog even had a license on him tied with a metal string ard his neck.....no collar. I really couldn't afford to feed them but neither can i take the crying and the begging of the dog for food at my gate.

Hi FK,

I have a friend in TTDI who also does rescue work. She once told me that petshop owners themselves release too old to be sold & not 'cute' anymore cats from their shops to the streets. Did I mention that these cats are not desexed before their 'release' ?
For the sake of the cats, I hope this isn't true s'all I can say

Kesiannya... . Takde ke owang nak selamatkan kucing2 nie...?I selalu berangan kalau I ni mmg kaya gile,nak je I ambil kucing2 macam ni,hantar g vet & keep them in a safe place..all of them! Sedih betul everytime nampak kucing2 nie..lagi kesian bile nampak yg injured & even worse, dah mati kena langgar...

i have to agree with this..if only and only if i can afford to feed all the stray cats and dogs in malaysia..hehehehe..usually..once we start to feed a stray cat/dog..they will start to call their friends to join the meal..happens to me a lot of time.. tapi takpe sebab diaorang ni comel comel..

Melissa, I have the horrible feeling in me that what you say is true because this petshop towkay also does not spay his beautiful calico mother cat which hangs in his shop and she has just given birth AGAIN! My heart pains for all these little darlings who deserve a decent life as much as we do ... In the end, like everything else, it is back to what our government should be doing ... (sigh!)
