Is This Your Lost Cat??!!
Hi Fella Cat Lovers,
Last Friday night as i went for dinner in PJ , and i found this poor darling!! I assume she is about 2 years old, a very tame, very manja, very beautiful and very very hungry..... This poor soul came to me and begging for food.... I was having buffet steamboat so i fed her boiled prawns and fishes.... She got very delighted and could not stop eating..... My heart really ache for her and i was telling my fiance about bringing her back for time being.... But no luck coz i just took in a new cat about a month back.... She looks like a Siamese mixed with light blue eyes.... See it for yourself, she is a beauty with a very very sweet face.... I seriously think that she is too tame and beautiful to be a stray....Could this be somebody else lost cat? Can we do something to help this poor soul? I went back last night to look for her and i found her.... I gave her some food and she repay me back with lots of meowing and rub rub..... Very sweet of her..... If she isn't a lost cat, is anyone here is kind enough to give her a home?? If you are interested in her, PM me and i will bring you to the location.... If you need a carrier or cage, i can provide! Ok here comes my update on my catnap status..... The cat is with me now
!I managed to catnap her at 1230am..... I might be wrong about her about her age.... I think she is about 2 - 3 yrs old.... She has a rounded race, big eyes (but my Nisha has got bigger eyes, i call her my sea lion lui), big paws, thick coat and slightly longer then normal DSH, light blue eyes, very tame and friendly..... When she was in the carrier on the way back home in the car, surprisingly she did not cry out loud or even trying..... When she entered the room, she got a bit freak out until she found her cozy corner to hide (my tv table).... She has huge appetite and eat a lot, probably she has been starving for quite sometimes..... amal, i am not sure whether is she the type of cat your gf would want..... Because she is not a kitten anymore and has fully grown up.... If i do not have my new cat Yaya, i would take her in for sure.... The worse case is if you think she is not suitable for you, maybe i will send her to Paws..... Let me know what is the arrangement like asap ya because i am going out station again on Friday night......

I suspect it could also be possible that the cat ada tuan in the area (she is not kurus and looks maintained even tho she hangs around a place like that) and is actually wandering around for extra food as cats can act hungry even 1 hour after feeding. Outdoor cats do wander a certain kilometer radius and often hang out wherever there is food available (e.g. eating places). But they do go home once in a while. I shudder to think that if I live near eating places and one of my FurKids (memang kena biar outdoors bcos we rescue too many to keep indoors) should "discover" a food haven and hang around there and get catnapped. Kalau dapat owner bagus yg sayang dia just as much and treat them well, takpe, then I can rescue another pitiful cat tapi kalo dapat org yg "sayang sekejap" then fall out of love and give away or abandon, I would feel utterly heartbroken ...

hi there,
i agree with furkids. This cat is possible have an owner and she just wondering around for extra food. Cat do roam around theire territory search for food and etc. She look well fed and well kept and groom. Leave youre phone number with the restaurant owner incase the owner looking for her. Did u ask the restaurant owner about her? How long she been there or she just a drop by and etc. Certainly she is friednly coz she know u as a meal provider. She kept quite in ur car coz she in shock and puzzled. Just my 2 cents opinion. Peace

I don't know if people will ever be able to talk to animals the way Doctor Doolittle could, or whether animals will be able to talk back. Maybe science will have something to say about that. But I do know people can learn to "talk" to animals, and to hear what animals have to say, better than they do now

The restaurant owner may not even know whose cat it is bcos normally many cats visit restaurants and eating stalls and the owner is busy managing his business and customers. The cat kept quiet in the carrier because normally pet cats are used to being carried around in carriers on visits to vets, etc. and car rides, so they don't behave like the usual strays where they really go amok unless covered completely with cloth. That is my 2-sen opinion based on my handling with real strays (they normally look thin, scrawny, with fur missing from cat fights, etc. which are signs I look for to confirm betul-betul lost cat or tak bertuan/berpenjaga
 The restaurant owner (if he is not the owner) may also be so happy to get rid of the cat as most Chinese absolutely do not take kindly to cats, they are more partial to dogs (they feel that dogs at least earn their keep and help guard property) IF (a very big IF) at all they r animal lovers (of course there r some Chinese who love cats too, but not many, compared to Malays, that is why all these dog hunt business is sometimes made out to be a racial issue by some quarters). As such, the restaurant owner and his workers may not bother to help in this case. Also, they may be so busy minding their business to help you at all, after all, this is a tough world to do business and survive, so no time for animals la .... I kesian the real owner that lost such a beautiful and lovable cat. If it is a child, he/she would be crying ... but may not be a visitor of this forum ... And I feel for him/her because as real cat lovers/pet owners, at some point of time we too have lost our pets and have felt the intense pain and yearning ....
