Dear Prince and All, still no news of Skiboots. Two weeks as of yesterday. It was quite uncanny today when my nephew asked "Do you think Skiboots is in a better place?". For one moment there, I was stumped... and like all kids, interjected, by asking "Do you think he's been run over by a car?". Now to that, I'm sure -- 'No way'. "He's too fast for that." As to a better place, i really can't say but truly, Skiboots has -- and will always have -- a very, special place in my heart. All animals -- especially domesticated ones -- were put on this planet to love us, unconditionally. And all of you in this forum are surely among the lucky ones who get to savour the joys of reciprocating that love. ( I totally agree with your Warren Eckstein signage quote, Prince!). OK, Ok -- I'll keep on chanting that mantra 'Hurry Home Skiboots' a little louder... will let you all know when the miracle happens!

I believe socks is all fine...abt when he'll be back...only magic of time can make its wonder...keep kewl sheila and we are with u...

I believe Ski Boots is fine, as Prince said. Me and my family's thoughts are with you. I lost Samson for a day and my son was crying his eyes out. He was chanting Samson, please come back till he fell asleep. And Samson returned in the morning, all wet and hungry. Poor boy.

Hi Sheila, Any news on Skiboots? Just wondered as I saw a small kitten that looked like him the other day. But it belonged to someone.

hey All, especially Tina, Prince & Azhelmy-- Today is the fourth week since Skiboots went missing -- and missing him I still am -- terribly. Just lit a candle on the patio to let him know that he is still connected to us, wherever he may be. Isn't it amazing how much tenderness these little ones can evoke in us... There are so many 'Skiboots' stories that will surely be remembered by our family -- his nibbling of our toes to wake us up, his climbing up the roof to my room window and calling,.. again to wake us up. His rushing into the room -- much like a frenzied Kramer from Seinfeld. Skib made us all laugh the most. Tina, I'm so glad Samson is good -- what a fright you must have had. Prince, yeah, I'm always kewl And Azhelmy, I always relate Cheng's return to everyone. Rest assured, guys, I still whistle out every now and then and take an extra long detour in the area when I drive ...slowly... and sentimental me can feel Skiboots in the breeze. How lucky I have been. Take care, all
