Dear Furkids, Haha.. sound very easy one! However, without microchips and only arm with photos and receipt, still difficult for the police to ascertain that you are the true owner. If there is precedence cases (specifically involving cats and if you happen to know) please let me know. Anyway, thanks for the respond. |

Kes mcm nie ... (sit back and releks, kay?) Once upon a taim ada satu orang bela anjing. Itu anjing itu olang dia tarak jaga baik. Kasi keluak rayau merata-rata tarak kasik makan. Then pada satu hari, kena yaksiden ... Datang olang kedua ... kesian kat si anjing tu. So the guy serahkan anjing tu and moved out of the area. And the dog lived happily after with owner baru yg benar-benar sayangkan dan menjaga dia. Kisah benar. ![]() |

Just make sure the chips (transponders) are ISO - then a universal reader can detect them. (Don't know about Malaysia, but here, the RSPCA and many vets have readers which will detect ISO chips.

All of which becomes rather hit and miss if there's no reliable database with which the IDs are recorded. Someone mentioned that dogs in your parts often have chips - does the Canine Club keep a database? Couldn't you explore them taking on cat ID, too??????????? (IF they are reliable!)

FSM has/had a database of some sort for cats that had been chipped - although I'm not sure now since I myself have not been keeping the club updated on my own cats!
