Minju, as for you cast I have face before too last time ,
(My idea not nessary is 100% correct and SENIOR PLS CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG) ==> all you have to do 1st is to find an indoor type of cat like persian which prefer to start from a kitten which has not much exposure to outdoor live, well beside you have to pamper and keep your house tight from other CATs. For eg. Keep you CAT in a separate rooms if you are not around and only let he/her out when you are superising him/her. or you can keep her/him in a cage when you or your family member is around or when you let sliding door, windows open. Spend more time with your daughter and your CAT and let your CAT get used to the environment. Another things is you should keep your house from other STRAY CAT ( NO OFFENCE) coz they will distract you cat make them unhappy and etc etc..... |

minju... melmel is correct. most pedigree cats are usually more adaptable to live indoor esp persians, save a few breeds. if training a cat from kittenhood, it will be much easier. but it doesn't mean training an adult to be indoor cat is impossible. a stray also can be converted to indoor cat with patience. if you doesn't want your cat to escape while you open the windows and doors, keep the cat inside another room or cage or carrier. from my own experience, arwen was a stray when i found her. now she's content to be indoors. my mom's friend also converted a stray she used to feed to be her indoor cat. |

hmm.. i believe cats have their own characters... i think most of u guys would agree... so in my opinion, maybe the stray cat that your daughters picked up just didn't want to stay in a hse, it just wants to run free... stay wild and all that.. i had 2 stray kittens taken home with me... one ran away and one stayed... both are females... very active... very attached to me... but yet one still ran away... puzzles me why.. but i guess its just nature..
or maybe God has other plans for u and the stray kitten... ![]()
