Default The legend has left us
Our family is shattered - yesterday we had to make the decision to let our wonderful, gorgeous, in your face aby go. He had been struggling with pneumonia and it would have been too cruel to perpetuate it...he was comotose by the time we got to the surgery. No, thanks - don't try any more.

My husband and son are about as 'Aussie bloke' as you can get - at least in the sense of not being outwardly emotional - but there were many therapeutic tears shed.

I'm still shell-shocked. Forget the fact Zack was Australia's most over-qualified aby show cat. He was simply and absolutely the most loving, giving, wonderful person and everyone who ever met him (even non-cat people) fell instantly in love. Life will - quite simply - never be the same.

Thanks, Abymummy and all. It's all too awful. But is it merely coincidence that ALSO on Saturday, Di Reynolds, a longtime friend, AB judge and aby fanatic from Melbourne, also died? I sound crazy, but I wonder........I just wonder.........if they've found eachother yet.
