thats the beauty of persians...they are lazy when they tend to grow up....all my persians, be it male or female, they are very energetic masa kitten, but i assure u, when they grow up, they'll definitely just laze around and sleep or makan...thats the activity of a well loved and fed cat....

rozita what u feed them... i use IAMS as recommended by a Vet Dr in Bangi. Is that the best food for persians.

which Dr you seek for advice Farina?...are you staying in bangi? ok whatever food are good..but not the cheap one lah....iams are good too...in fact there are lots of food out there..RC, Back to Basic, Feline, nurture but as your vet said are true......

well..when it comes to food, it depends on the cat actually...sometimes the food that others recommend doesnt mean ur cat/kitten boleh makan...they have sensitive stomachs....like for my cats/kittens, they take Science Diet and Friskies Purina and home cooked food...other brands they tend not to like.. if you intend to change your cats food in the future, always start by mixing the new food with the old...slowly adding the new food more than the old one...if your cat/kitten can take it, then you change the food totally to the new brand....depends.... ...vets normally knows best but our cats/kittens knows better coz they are the ones eating, not us..rite???..anyway, u can contact me at 012 3060654 about ur nephews thing anytime....ciao.... ...and for a persian, u kena rajin2 groom dia becoz their fur tend to get matted easily and this is very painful for them....mandikan once or twice a week will do if he/she stays indoors....u can ask all of us forumers anything..we help each other here..jangan malu2...right fellow forummers???...

IAMS works well for my babies. Sometime I mix with Royal Canine (RC) but I can't 100% switch them to RC coz when they eat IAMS, they won't cough fur balls and it goes out the 'back way'..

I agree with Rozita, what's good for our cats may not necessary be good 4 yours.
