Jay, very hard to predict the color of the kitten esp when the parents are bicolor or tricolor - they can throw variety of combination. It's easier to predict on solid color.
But, one thing that I noticed - normally a good "working" line will produce kittens with a very outstanding color. If it’s red, black, calico or tortie, the color will be very shiny and bright. And if it’s a dilute (blue, cream, dilute calico or blue cream), the color will be very pale. This is something that the breeder will try to achieve in their program.
In that litter (that you like) – Effi has the best color….

Really very cute

Just would like to introduce GC RW Rhamjoge Grand Finale (Grandy). He is now the 3rd Highest Scoring Cat in the world (for CFA National). Most likely he will be crowned as National Winner (NW) and Breed Winner (BW) cat in this show season….looks like nothing can stop him!

He is almost perfect cat in every angle….a very good example for the Persian breed. Everything you want in a Persian is inside him. Large boning and substance, short cobby body, very big head, very large round eye, tiny little ears, short snub nose, very deep break, super smooth top skull, excellent doming etc. – you almost hardly find any weak point on him (as pointed out by most of the judges). When he was in his best condition, he always snatch all the Best Cat in Show and almost unbeatable by any other cats.

I am flattered and honored for being entrusted by his owner (Rhonda Fox from USA) to present and show him in our region. To tell the truth, I was quite nervous to handle him for the first time (knowing the fact that he is among the top cat in the world). He really melts me with his big round eyes…. I just can’t believe that the cat that I always admire through the net is now with me in my house.

I just came back from Hong Kong Show - even with lesser coat and weight (since he has been used for breeding), Grandy still managed to final in 6 rings.

I will definitely miss him very much when I need to ship him back to his owner early next year!

Yes!! Grandy is such a sweetie pie I'm also very lucky to get to handle him for awhile & room mate for 1 night in HK with Charger, Velvet & Grandy. He's such a relax boy that he look like a lazy bum but in actual fact he is just cool.. relax & very good temperament. He treat the big show hall like he is just at home.

I am so happy that all the three cats that I entered in EG International Cat Show made their final.

FIRST, my new boy Grandy Jr made 5th Best Kitten in Barbara Sumner Ring. He looks really promising at the age of 4 months old.




SECOND, Yani made 10th Best Kitten in Barbara Sumner Ring and 6th Best Kitten in Mary Auth Ring.




And THIRD, Perfikatz Miss Amber made 2nd Best Cat in Mary Auth Ring and Best Cat in Barbara Sumner Ring and became the Highest Scoring Cat In Show!



You can see how round she looks in the show... that's the art of sculpting.
Some persian might have “mutton chop” or lot of hair hanging off their cheeks – this will cover their round look. So, you will need to pluck the unnecessary hair… but you cannot over do or it will look artificial and not natural.
This is how Amber look before the plucking/sculpting process…



Amber is owned by Amanda Cheng from China. She entrusted me to take care of her since last year. Amber is a unique persians - very playful and hyperactive (you rarely see persian as active as her). She is good to all my other Persians and always make them happy. The only thing that she knows is play, play, play and play!
