Hi all
I'm Shiloh and sort of a new member on the forum. I joined earlier but then my kitty died and for a few months there was no kitty in my life. Now, there are two little balinese babies - CheChe (big sister) and TiTi (little brother). No surprise that they are related. They are 3+ months and really nice. I've been reading the forum and it is full of great info on taking care of cats and kitties. Hope I can learn more from "cat-experts" on the forum. Which brings me to the first question - How can I take picture of the kitties - they don't stop moving and everything I've tried comes out blurry. Also their eyes reflects and look red like zombie cats - scary. All suggestions and advice welcome. I'll |

Hi Rozita - I know all about your safari plans! Thanks for the welcome.
There's a lot of pantang on taking pix of sleeping cats - so sez my mother & mother-in-law. Actually, the moms say my last kitty died becoz i took pix of him while he was sleeping. While I don't believe them... The kitties also look so cute when they are running around and looking at things, but can't capture it. I'm so bad at this photography thing ![]() |

Hi shiloh... try not using the flash when taking pictures of your cat, as the cats' eyes tend to reflect the light coming from the flash, causing the "zombie" effect...

thanks jolll. I try'll without the flash.
my kitties are off-white, one is chocolate point and the other is blue/grey point. in pix they look "washed-out" but in person or in-kitty they look gorgeous (I'm not very objective about em). ever seen those posed pix of cat show winners - how in the world did they get the cats to sit still for so long and get such great shots. maybe pedigreed cats are more photogenic ![]() |
