One of the top coats I've seen on a Brit was on a neuter in KL - came from Mum's lines. Would make 99.999% of Brit breeders jaws drop to their kneecaps. OK - cheating - a neuter, and he DID live inside with ceiling fans, but still. Raymond Saetre's (av Hulder) cats all live inside in wear-only-shirtsleeves-rolled-up heating but5 boy, do some of them have coats! One in particular he says has too much undercoat (and I tend to agree). Sure, you could enhance slightly and maintain better in a permanent lower temperature, but I can't help but wonder whether the investment would pay off! See what happens with Rasmine - she comes from a 'coat' pedigree. You may just find that all is well without playing polar ice caps..

And, as I said, I might forget to take my shopping list to the supermarket but I remember cats years on!
