Yes it is important to have the cert if it is IMPORTANT for you to call you cat with pedigree name. Since you admitted that "he is a persian cross", your cat is either a domestic longhair or domestic shorthair.

Please read MCF rules and regulation. And please stop with your sarcasm remarks saying that I like to "edit sesuka hati".

to be honest zarul, I dont even know what is all the cfa, tica or anything that you guys are debating about. what I knw is that I have this two little cute kittens of mine and wanna share wz u guys,...Of course, If can I want to have the certificate for them...just I dont know how. dear Mr. Jay, does my kittens have all the requirements for the cat's show or competition? Guide me pleaseee...

monajm... the question was not meant for u... it was for mommycats because jay was edited her posts... so i want to know samada her cat come with cert or not. if not she cant call her cat with any pedigree breed name. cat without cert can only be call dsh, dslh or dlh. If i not mistake cat without cert can enter ther household category.

Yes, cats without certificates can enter cat show in the household category. Actually it doesn’t matter whether our cats have certs or not, I myself have a DLH and I showed him.

The main reason why we do not allow anybody in here to call their non-cert cats with pedigree names is because of our long history of arguments quite some time ago. At that time, many people took the advantages by selling "Persian" in here even if the cat is not a Persian.

We have many people who have been cheated and therefore we have to enforce the rule. One of the purposes of this forum is to educate people but since this has been repeated many times, we hope new users could read what is written in the rules/reg that I posted to all new users. Other than that, new users are encouraged to browse threads in "Cat Breed".

This rules were not made by me or some individual, it is based majority's decision. Since we made the rules, this forum has been very peaceful compared to before. Those days, we have encountered many arguments about "backyard breeders", "people who have been cheated" and many more.

For all new users, please read the links again for better understanding. The moderators and the administrator have every right to edit/remove posts that do not follow the rules and we are not hesitated to ban users who do not follow them (after warning through PM).

Yes I Agree with you Jay... I still remember about those days with lots of people arguing over some fact that their cat are not Persian. Well we are not try to against anyone here but to more towards to educate ppl who don't know if their cat is a pedigree or not. And again I think as a moderator you have a done a good job so far to maintain the peacefullness of the forum.

So that is very important to read the forums rulez and understand clearly... Once again I hope that you all don't take it personal and stick to the rule..

Actually saya pun tak tau sgt psl pedigree ke, breed ke, or mcm2 lagi lah. Itu sume org boleh nilai ..... tp relation between us and our cat, nobody can argue. Lgpun masing2 has their own opinion. Lgpun kita sembang2 nak enjoy kan...... Maybe Jay American style, terus terang.
