Default Coming to Malaysia

Hi all, been occasional hanging out here for the past couple of months as a visitor, but now that the time of our move to Malaysia is coming closer it is time to officially register.

We and our 4 boys (2 Egyptian Mao's and 2 Orientals) will move from Belgium to Langkawi around the 12th of June. All the papers have been filled in, all the vacinations have been taken care of, so now we are counting the days.

Our 4 boys who are still unaware of the BIG change hanging over their head. Little do they know about the pending flight and quarantaine awaiting them.

Have posted some practical questions under "general" ... I thank you in advance for your answers and advice!

Stephan & Anna

to azmansor : No, we will not be working, we're coming under the MM2H program. We can't deal with the cold winters in EU anymore.

farish73 : At least you are coming here during the summer!! St. Niklaas is between Antwerp and Gent, both nice cities. We used to live near Antwerp but then moved to the french speaking part of the country (Tournai). Now we are staying with relatives (week here and a week there) since we have sold our house. As soon as we have tied up all the loose ends here, we're off to Langkawi.

We know!! I guess until we are used to the heat airco will be a must for us too!

Here in cool Northern Europe we have electrical heated cushions for our cats.

My guess it the orientals will take to the heat without a problem, they even sleep on the heated cushions in the summer, but the Egyptian Mao's will have a problem. They are big boys (about 8 kg each)

I didn't see any problem for your cat's since all of them are short hair hope to see yours cat at one of our cat show in Malaysia.
