Waaah, comel nya ! Congrats for having such a beautiful cat!

Hi Pussy,
Ally will be 2 yrs old this Apr. Yes, I was refering to the cheek jowls. She has all the looks except the big jowls. I've attached her pic here. First pic was taken when she was abt 1 yr. Last 2 was taken when she was abt 1.5 yrs old.

Is this what she should look like at her age?

Allycat, you have a nice cat there. It is very hard to see from the photos the feature of her head. If you can take a clearer photos, front view of her would be better.

Like I said before, female don’t have as large cheek as compare to the male. For example, the first photo is Gorgeous’ mum and second is Gorgeous’ dad. Their photos were taken when they are about 2 years old. Look how big is the male’s cheek as compare to the female’s.

Your Ally, looks like Ohka, Gorgeous’ brother I sold to ling fiy. The third photo was taken when he was 7 months old. Ling fiy sent his recent photo (last photo) to me, see his cheek is getting bigger.

As I was admiring the pictures, scrolling down slowly, the last one with red eyes almost freaked me out. Pheww.....just a cat I told myself.

Yeah, you are right, the male's cheek is much2 bigger than the female's. Ally's head looks like Gorgeous' mum, and a bit like Ohka in 3rd pic when she's in that post. I notice that Ohka looks huge at that age. My Ally doesn't want to get fat.....must be one of those fitness-concious lady cat

I'll try to get a better pic when I got my new digital camera, and post again.

now i'm beginning to like british shorthair... very teddy bear like lah... huge like my domestic cat lalang... but he is missing now, should be three years old if he is still with me

Allycat, you are welcome, I’m glad to offer some helps. If your Ally looks like Gorgeous’ mum and brother, then you have nothing to worry about. She is still young and will grow to her full size in about 1 year time. Looking forwards to see more of her photos.

Woozy, Ohka has very nice copper eye colour and it showed up in the last photo. He has show quality and he came first in last year K.K. Cat Show under the pedigree kitten, Sabah Open. The judge like him very much would have awarded him overall Borneo Open Champion if he were 2 months older. He makes Ling fiy, a proud owner and me, a proud breeder. Hope this year he will win again.

Catalina, sorry, to hear about your lalang, hope he ended up living with a good family. British Shorthair is really a nice cat, it is not only their look but temperament too. You should get one yourself, may be you can buy one of Ally's kittens.
