You mentioned raw food as a requisitie for the new owners of your cats. Is it because ragdolls can't consume other types of food? I mean, it got me curious as to why that is important.

One day, hopefully, or in my dreams, I'd like to own a ragdoll and a maine coon. They're such beautiful animated "rugs"...........

we stipulate raw food because we feel it is the best possible way to feed ALL cats. Also our raggies come from lines that have been feed raw fod many generations and they tend to react to kibble foods.

do feel free to come visit the rats! they are often at the shop for a bath so you can drop by then

OIC....hmmm......I'm trying to understand here, so please forgive the many questions I have. Raw food would be chicken, beef, mutton and fish, right?

Is this like back to basics, as cats are supposed to be carnivorous creatures? My cat used to like raw salmon, but not anymore. I don't know why. Since I fed him kibbles when he reached 1 year old, he would only eat kibbles and decline all other types of food.....maybe it's because kibbles has "seasonings" he finds that more palatable?

hehehe, I'd love to visit the rats. Hmmm......your shop is at Taman Melawati, eh? Where is it in relation to Maybank (the main road)? Once a month I have to run an errand for my hubby in Taman Melawati, so if you let me know where, I'll pop by when I'm in the area.

Blackie, I wish I can join .... but too bad, I still don't know how to drive... yes, I am driving my hubby nuts with my incompetence!

Very pretty!

raw food is any meat and bone fed uncooked. our cats have chicken, fish, lamb, duck, beef and wild boar. fish is limited because it dones't contain taurine, which cats need and cannot synthesize from vit a like dogs can.

kibble is very palatable because it contains a lot of flavourings. also cats enjoy the crunch. our cats are fed raw meaty bones- for crunch (to clean teeth) and for a perfect and balanced bio avialable source calcium and phosporos. out cats also get fattier cuts of meat as cats in the wild consume up to 40% fat in their diet. the raw fat, which is easily digested by cats (as oppsed to cookd fat) makes for nerve health and lustrous coats.

our shop is next to bank islam and opposite bank muamalat. does that help? we're kinda facing the MRR2. we're closed on mondays though.

Thank you so, so much for your tips. They're very helpful and have done a lot in educating me on what constitutes as a balanced diet. I'll keep trying to persuade Blackie (my cat) to eat raw food. Even if he eats only some, it's better than nothing, right?

I'm not too sure where bank islam is, but I guess it shouldn't be too difficult to locate once I'm there.

Bina: Is there any ktm or lrt station near your place? if u can find your way to kepong ktm station, i cld pick u up from there when i'm going to taman melawati. We cld go and drool over Alicia's lovely cats.

it is my pleasure and privilege to share about raw feeding.

also, the cats belong to my younger sister, Olivia. I only have a Maine Coon, a Bengal and a sweet little old lady Exotic. My DSH went missing in February and I am considering taking in one from our rescue.

see you around soon.
