Just a general question esp to American Curl owners & breeders.

What's the basic/ general personality of cats of this breed?

Eg: vocal, floor cat, spiderman-like, kitten-like even in adulthood, etc?

Base from my experience breeding american culs laah kan....most of my cats mmg playful , manja yang teramat sgt, kadang kadang kita yang terasa rimas sbb asyik nak bergesel ajer....but when we talk about temprement very subjective la....ada yg penakut, ader yang garang...macam2 lagi laa

Mysuri have been with me not that long....but what i can say very the manja...if i went to the room or tiolet she will wait infront the door... and she always teman tv tengok i tidur. vocal.....very soft....spiderman-like.....sometimes....
in the evening i usually bring her around the school in my car......when i went back to perak for the chinese new year , i did not put her in the carrier. i let her loose in the car...she sat at the passanger seat beside the driver...whe she got bored she went at the back and sat there...ok...no problem so far...

As some breeders still practicing outcrosses, the temperament might varies depending on the outcross been used.
Thus, it is advisable for breeder to really choose a well temperament, hearty domestic cat as outcross.

I personally quite particular about temperament rather than type, as I believe type is easy to improve rather than temperament.

Establish line i.e Procurlharem, Sarcenet and Russicurl are known for their nice curls, well socialized, and pleasant temperament.

Generally, I would say The Curl personality is playful, curious, loving and people oriented
Every Curl I've ever met wanted to do ANYTHING their people were doing!

The only real problem with Curls-if you want to call it that-is that no one can have just one!
