Hi All,
I am new to this forum. And this is my kitty "Rooney". I found him in a drain by my condo. The poor guy is all wet, cool and hungry since it was raining everyday few weeks ago. So i bring him home and took care of him. I think he is only 2 weeks old when i rescued him, he barely open his eyes. Now he is about 5 weeks old, healthy and happy. He is so so naughty but at the same time oh so sweet. ![]() Last edited by Danielck : 03-11-2008 at 03:30 PM. |

Hi all,
Just to check with you guys, when should i bring him for vacinnation? He is currently about 6 week old i guess. And... what kind of breed is this....normal street cat? His fur is quite long compared to the cats i see in mamaks and street. Anyone can enlighten me? Thanks ![]() |

It's better if you bring him to the Vet and let the Vet determine if he is healthy enough to be vaccinated
He's really cute ![]()

Today i bring Rooney to a vet. He was wheezing all the way yesterday. The vet says he had some lung infection ( or cat flu) . Maybe because of the cold rain and drain water that he endure before i found him. Anyway, the vet give him a jab and some medication. Poor Guy
Well, next week he will be given vaccination. Hope all goes well with him. Pictures of him after wet visit. Reward him with some quality playtime ![]() Last edited by Danielck : 05-11-2008 at 02:37 PM. |

Hi all, Thanks for the comments. But sadly, I am giving up Rooney for adoption after a very heated argument with my wife.
My baby is going to due soon and she is worry about asthma and allergies that a cat may bring to a baby. Please refer to the adoption section for more info. ![]() |

YAY!!! Rooney has found a home....and it's my next door neighbour. So happy at least i can still see him now and then. Thanks to all who contacted me about Rooney. It's nice to know there are so many loving people out there.
P/S: Sorry Mie, i know i have agreed earlier to let you have Rooney, but my neighbour's offer is hard to turn down as i can still see Rooney a lot often. My sincere apology. |

Hi all,
Just an update on my Rooney. After my neighbour adopted him, i went to see him now and then. And during weekend, i manage to bring him back home to play with him. Yesterday i bring him for his 1st vaccination. He's ok but just a bit tired today...sleep all day long. And i bought him a new toy...a small cat tree. He seems to love it and started to scratch it. Just some pics of him ![]() |
