This is Aldo (GP, DW Russmania Aldo Rossi), he's the brother of Antonio of the same litter.............

He was 2nd BEST CAT in Premiership in Asia/Latin America Division back in the 2006-07 season, together with Antonio with his BEST CAT title in Championsip.

Now that he's been retired for 2 years and enjoying his life as a King as well as a a bird-watching, teaser-chasing, food-sucking monster..........

That's the reason why he's 18.5 pounds now.......with a condition that could possibly win him another major award (again) if we did bother to show him........of course that will not happen............

Put it this way, he can go to a show looking like this (and then, hey, he doesn't look that bad, does he?)..........if that's a FIFe show.........

In a FIFe show the judges would deliberately punish a well-groomed wegie as they think a wegie is supposed to look like that 'cause all wegies were "wild cats in the forest".........if same principle applies, then a British Shorthair should not be bathed neither 'cause they were originally street cats".........and who cares to bath a cat literally living on the street...............

That's why many FIFe Norwegian Forest breeders don't really bath their cats before a show...........

Russell, this boy look a bit over weight to me, tell me if I'm wrong. Wow! he is still having his full coat I guess that is the advantage of a neuter cat. Most of my neuter/spay cats also have their full coat & they are always in superb coat condition & ever ready for any show. Maybe I shud strongly consider showing my neuter in future.

oh definitely............Aldo is basically a big fat ass in my eyes..........I've been telling his mom to put him on diet a bit but that wasn't quite successful. Anyway, we took him to the vet for a full-body check-up and all bio-readings read normal - he may be fat but he's all healthy, and that's my bottom-line.....

And all judges tend to accept that bit of extra weight for neuters and spays. My experience tells me very well in the last few years that my winning wegies has to get that extra weight to "puff them up" for the extra edge.......and it works well...........
