Just about a month ago, my friend woke up one morning to the sound of a kitten mewing outside her apartment. She went out to check but found nothing so she went back in. The mewing continued & got louder so she went out to check again. This time, she found a very weak & sickly looking kitten huddled in a dark corner of the corridor.

She immediately took the kitten & brought her to the vet. The vet said she was only about 3-4 months old & had very bad mange. He gave her a jab for the mange & my friend brought her home to care for her.

My friend lives on the 12th floor & surely there was no way an ill kitten could have made her way up there all by herself. We could only conclude that someone must have dumped her there to die. Actually, my friend does have a rough idea who that heartless monster is.

After taking care of her for a few days, my friend gave her to me. I’m thankful she ended up outside my friend’s apartment & not somewhere else where she would have been left to die, alone & scared.

I’ve named her Sadhana. She has a lovely temperament & is really the friendliest, gentlest, sweetest & most affectionate kitten I’ve ever met. Her mange has cleared completely after 3 jabs & she'll be going for her 1st vaccination tomorrow.

Oh, Min. This truly brings tears to my eyes. You've saved her and given her a forever home (I was almost expecting to read that now you'd cured her, you'd like to adopt her out...sorry...which would have been commendable in itself and everyone would understand...) ..... may whichever god or prophet is yours heap the most wonderful things upon you. If only there were more people like you. May you have a long and happy life together!
