Hi All,

MySkogkatt cattery has created another history on the cattery's personal achievement. I am proud to share that our very own 3rd Generation of our Malaysian Bred Norwegian Forest Cat, MYSKOGKATT LUCKY LUKE is now in the UK. Luke and another Norwegian Forest from our own breeding Nikollette aka Nikki departed to the UK last week, Friday, 11th July 2008. Apart from the UK, MySkogkatt's Norwegian Forests are also in Maldives and Indonesia.

Oh, boy - similar story to that of an EXO neuter I bred - Comyn Almost a Gigilo. He was born here (Aust) went to Portugal and is now alive with his owners (who are into big moves!) and very well in Hawaii!

for UK ada..tapi owner kena buat kat UK n used it back.. but for Luke and Nikki they have to go thru the 6 months home quarantine in the UK at one of the approved cattery.. simply becos owner cant wait tat long here fear for any change of regulations on our side if there is any outbreak of any disease e.g. bird flu etc... so they choose to do it in the UK.. so technically Luke and Nikki will only be home by winter.. but owner got to visit both as much as they wanted.

You mean Cats in UK actually have passports? I didn't know that! 6 mths quarantine? But, I am sure their facility is so much better than the one we have here! I remember once, an ex-colleague of mine (expat) went over to Bangladesh to work, he saved a black kitten from being drowned by local children and brought him back to Malaysia. He said our Malaysian quarantine facility is in such sad, appalling state! Plus, a lot of under-table $$$ involved.

Must be a big move for Luke and Nikki! It is equivalent of migrating!
