I would prefer to find someone maybe a friend who also a cat owner and come over to the house to take care of them.. Coz most cat are more comfortable in their own house... Well of coz Some cats has no problem to stay anywhere but some cats might not wanna leave the house... and no matter how nice the place is still not comfortable enough some cat.. and that might cost stress.
Well Maybe I might change my decision later, coz since few years ago that I have cat I never when for a holiday for more then 2 day 1 night... hehehe...Coz I dont like to leave them alone in the house more then 1 night... ![]()

Agree with Doink. In the condo I live now, i have 2 friends who have cats. What we do is, we cover each other everytime any of us have to go away.
I will be going to Brunei next week for a week and one of them will come over to my house twice a day (morning and evening) to take care of my 3 cats. But if i dont have a choice, i would send my cats to Alicia's pet shop. She has glass rooms for cat's boarding instead of cages. Even if the price is more than cages, I believe my cats would find it much happier. But if her place has been fully booked, I would send to Dr. Hasnul clinic and I would ask him to put them in a big cage. I would try my very best not to cage them but if I dont, I would find a place with big cage (and the place must be someone whom I trust - I would not send my cats to people I dont know).

Since I take up this new job, I've been posted oversea frequently, each time, 2 to 3 weeks. I have a friend come over to my house to take care of Paris and Venus when I'm away. He wasn't a cat lover when he takes up this task, but now, he seem to fall in love with Paris (not so much of Venus, cause Venus always shy away from him).

Guess that's a cultural language thing. "Caging" to us means having a run or whatever - usually wire mesh, but is of dimenions whereby you can walk into it - probably 4 cubic metres (in a boarding cattery)

Had only a brief look, but I think I get the picture. Not for my cats, thanks! The idea of cats from different households playing and mixing with eachother - and sharing litter trays, etc - potentially a BIG health hazard!
