Theoretically (but cats don't read the text books) she should be staying with her kittens and not interested in you at all. (That makes me wonder, along with panting, etc) if there's another on the way.)

How old is she? I assume this is a first litter?

Appreciate your reply!

OK, I will monitor her very closely... she is doing well with the kittens, feeding, massage, ... and breaking up fights (yes, two kittens are fighting for the same "spot", (it is so funny looking at their little paws trying to push one another...).

Is it possible to have another one on the way, hours after? Just saw her going into her "secondary" birthing box. Or maybe checking out where to move the babies?

I switched on the air-conditioning in the room, Lulu looks a bit relaxed, panting a little lesser now, but still breathing heavily. Funny thing is, she wouldn't want to be alone in the room! Once I am out of sight, she will start meowing (very vocal), looking for me..... is it normal? BUT, she is very sensitive to the kittens, she will run to them when she hears them crying.

Oh ya, to your Q abt Lulu, she is about 2 yrs old, as per the vet. I think, this is her second litter...

Thank you all for the guidance.

Lulu meows alot, whenever I am out of sight, she will come looking for me? Is that normal? or is she feeling discomfort? Other than that, she is still breathing heavily and panting (like a dog?)... Should I be worried?

Many thanks again

Yippeee......this is sure good news. Phew! At last. But Lesley has a point, I wonder if there could be more kitties to come? Looking forward to pics of Lulu and kitties.

I don't feel any bulging, or movement ... but then again, I am inexperienced!
I will be monitoring her closely and if panting, breathing heavily persists, it is vet time!
Thanks Shakirah for the info.

Yes! Kitties picture will be up soon........
I am praying hard that Lulu is A-OK!

You know, her water broke on my bed and she gave birth in my bedroom! She kept following me yesterday night, refusing to leave me alone, I gave up, let her into my room, then the whole episode of "second stage of labour" started!

But..... what an amazing experience!!

One orange kitty with short tail
One dark brownish tabby with long tail
One dark brownish tabby with crooked (I think) tail

A very closely attached girl (esp if she still has more - and yes, 24 hrs between kittens is known to happen) MIGHT follow you around even though she's finished, though I'd take that as a warning there could be more. If still nothing tomorrow, to the vet, I suggest............. but babies fighting over nipples is 100% normal. It's good exercise for them, apart from anything else. But they do sort out their preferred nipple (strawberry rather than papaya juice!) and it's a battle royal if someone takes their preferred one!

Is she still bleeding rather strongly? Any sign of discharge other than blood?

Default all is well...

Hi all,

Thank you so much for all valuable advices!

Lulu is all well, I took her to the vet yesterday evening. The vet examined her and said nothing to worry about, probably she is still very tired and feeling hot.

She looks so much better today, her breathing has regularised, not so much of panting and she moved the babies under my bed. I think it is because of the temperature and direct contact will floor tiles is a lot cooler? Should I move them back to their basket?

Here are a couple of pictures of mummy and babies for your viewing pleasure, again a BIG THANK YOU for being there for me, lulu and babies!
